I really don't like Novak. At all.

I feel sorry for Federer, he just looked so tired and lethargic out there all night. The worst I think I've ever seen him play. Novak thinks he's the king **** but he didn't even play that well. Would like to see him beat Federer when Fed is even 50% at his best.

Federer didn't look himself, but Novak played pretty damn well. Hope we get a good final - with the two players that are in there in their current form, we should.

Cant believe Fed went down in straight sets. Watched bits and pieces, Fed didnt look at his best, but fair play to Novak.

Tsonga will win on Sunday, i hope its 5 sets, but i have a feeling straight sets. Sharapova to crush Ivanovic tomorrow. 6-1 6-0 imo.

Wow, I'm amazed. Didn't see any of it, but total surprise. And dissapointment. Really wanted to see the two stylists face off against each other. Expect Tsonga to win.

Making a number of semi-final appearances and being very consistent at the tournament bar the last 2-3 years.
Not that I know a lot about Tennis but that seems a strange argument - a bit like when Marc argued that Wenger was a better manager than Ferguson because he came 2nd more often.

To be considered one of the best in a category, surely you have to have got further than semi-finals, which is ultimately nowhere. To not have made any finals is ridiculous.

The thing is he wasn't "one of the best though" IMO and never was. That's why he never got higher than 4 in the rankings.

He was widely ranked as one of the best grass courters though even if you didn't rate him that highly, which was, UIMM, the original point.
