He was getting annoyed at crowds for supporting the other player. I'm sorry but crowds can support whoever they want, it's too precious. I also don't like his parents - they're too full on with their Novak sweat shirts and bold statments (see Mum on saying Novak would never lose to Federer again) and over-the-top cheering. I feel like they're too much one of those tennis familys and he's too much of a production line player; when you compare him to someone like Federer or Tsonga who just have more of an all-court game. I loled at the commentator who suggested his parents were the Serbian version of Lleyton Hewitt's - what's the word for bogan in Serbian?
I really hope Tsonga isn't a one hit wonder b/c the tennis he played over the past fortnight was amazing. Up there with Federer in terms of class.

How is Novak even close to being a production line player? The man can play on all surfaces, and has all the shots.
In fact, going further to that, his physical build doesn't even represent anything like your conventional tennis player.
If anything, he defies what your average tennis player looks like (in terms of body build), just as much as Tsonga does.

Mario Ancic, former world number 7, has just beaten Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in straight sets (7-5, 7-6) in the first round of the ATP Marseille, France tournament!
I had a bloody feeling he'd win when I saw the draw. Ancic was paying a whopping 3.25 against Tsonga (who was paying 1.33), mainly because of Tsonga's awesome Australian Open, but also because Ancic has been out due to illness for ages and dropped to a ranking of 135.
I like Tsonga, but I was soooo happy to see Ancic win. Firstly because of my bet, but he's a quality player, and hopefully will drag himself back into the top 10 soon.
As for Tsonga, he was unbelievably unlucky to have to face someone the quality of Ancic in the first round, but boy, what a wake up call. The fairy tale ended quickly for the young man, losing in front of his home crowd so early in the tournament.

Murray beat Feds in Dubai. *cue groans from entire tennis world* Can't imagine there's too many players younger than Federer who have a positive record against him (with more than 3 matches played)
Also, Robin Söderling has reached two finals after coming back from injury. Still a nervous wreck and keeps choking in finals, but good on him for keeping Scandinavian tennis vaguely alive. Hope he breaks into the top 20 with a good slam run soon.

how bout that field in Dubai, top 7 in the world all playing and its only a tier 3 event, thats the huge appearance money talking. I guess it was tough for Federer to face the world number 12 in the first round as I guess that wouldnt happen at any other event. He's still clearly number 1 though...
perhaps we are seeing the end of an incredibly dominant streak but other than nadal and maybe djokovic, still don't see too many players out there who can challenge him on a consistent basis...mildly put, he is still good enough to win a few more majors, i'd say...

People will like to call it the end of Federer, but its rather the end of a huge 3-5 year period where Federer was so so so so so so much better than the rest of the top 5 players. Now its a lot closer, due to players catching up and also the existence of a form slump. His end of 2007 wasn't great (still awesome, but not to his usual standards) and his 2008 has been ordinary.
