Just another query about rankings and seeds..Simon you told me they were strictly the same, but in the newspaper it had listed Ivanovic as ranked third but seeded fifth. Explain?

Ivanovic was the 4th ranked player when the players were seeded, so she was seeded 4. However when the rankings were updated the next week, she had jumped ahead of Jankovic and is now ranked 3 (and Jankovic 4)

I guess no one is posting here because they're glued to their tellies. For those who arent, go watch. Tsonga took the first 6-4, carn straight sets.

That was one of the best matches ever. Honestly, it was tops. Best Open I in recent memory too.

Btw what was with the 7 commentators being the Tsonga fan club tonight? They sounded guted at the end.

**** I hate Djokovic, hope he never comes back to Australia.
Agree with that. Behaved like a right prat tonight.

The crowd weren't big fans of him and it's because he has been rude to the crowds all throughout the tournament, and come across as very arrogant too might I add. Tsonga will get a bigger cheer than him at the trophy presentation.

Agreed. He's a good player, and deserved to win, but he makes Lleyton Hewitt look like a gentleman and scholar. Loved how he spat at the crowd because they were cheering for Tsonga, and then has a whinge about "I know you like him more than me". Here's a tip, don't act like a ****wit, and maybe people will like you more.

How does Novak Djokovic act like a ****wit?

If you mean having fun on and off the court, then its a bit different to Hewitt. I don't think that guy's made a joke or said something funny in his whole tennis career.
