I would LOVE Flair getting the title and retiring.

I think that would be total gun.

Always like a feud where no one is champion to pick up a title due to injury or what not. Think they are much better than challenger vs. champ style matches.

But that's not likely to happen.

Seriously hoping Y2J doesn't get wasted here, which is the way it seems to be heading. And I reckon if he actually does get a title he'll probably turn heel straight away.

tbh i'm not really all that interested in the edge vs taker feud, dunno why, just doesnt have any real draw for me, would rather see taker vs Y2J or Edge vs Y2J tbh or taker vs CM Punk (obviously not going to happen anytime soon), but Punk should be moved to smackdown or RAW soon and given a push as a heel, that would be genuinely interesting and good to watch.

on the Subject of JBL, gah, I really hope this doesnt mean Jericho moving to Smackdown, as that would be a really negative step for Y2J, being demoted from their premier show to smackdown doesnt send out a very positive message from the E and their plans for Jericho, does anyone know how long his new deal runs for? as i'm already fearing he will job out a few pointless feuds and then leave in a year or so...

would be great to see flair vs sting at mania but somehow doubt that will happen, I still dont mind flair tbh, for someone of his age he is still reasonable in the ring, and still gets big pops, so i gots no beef with him.
Sting has signed a renewed deal with TNA through 2008, so nope, Flair vs Sting at WM will not be happening. :(

boooo, that sucks, now we will probably have to endure another hogan fest.
Rumour has it Hogan vs Austin is in the works. It's the match that was planned for WMX8 before Austin backed out, leading to Rock/Hogan. Supposedly Hogan would do the match in a heartbeat, but Austin and his dodgy neck are the holdup.

i heard the other way round actually, guess there must be loads of rumours flying around on the net about this one, tbf Austin vs Hogan is the one match involving Hogan I WOULD be interested in seeing, in fact i'd probs order the PPV for it, been ages since WM had a draw like that, that said I did order WM23 last year :p

would like to see Batista vs Jericho at mania this year, and its probably a reasonable possibility, despite what people say about batista (yes you, barney :p) I dont really have much of a problem with the guys work, its his backstage attitude and behaviour that I have the beef with, in ring I think he's perfectly capable, on mic he's also acceptable without being great, and he's one of the few people on the roster that hasnt yet feuded with Y2J and could put on a reasonable match so I wouldnt have any problems with this going ahead, Y2J winning of course.

imo mania is shaping up to be a pretty average looking event so far, no feuds of any note being built yet, and unless something fresh and interesting is thrown up I imagine we will see a fairly solid, but not great show, much like WM18 or 22.

Dude, I can't believe HHH put Jeff Hardy over CLEAN at Armageddon, that's so ****ing awesome. No doubt they'll shaft him out of his number one contender spot somehow, but still, that is a seriously huge sign of confidence from WWE and proof of how over he is with the fans that HHH would job to him. And doing the job clean was a classy sign from HHH as well, awesome.

yeah agree with this, I imagine Hardy will get his title shot though, but obviously lose, setting him up to go to mania and maybe win the MITB.

Be good to see the money in the bank used interestingly again this year, liked the way RVD used it when he won, would be awesome to see jeff as a world champ, even if it would only be as an interim champ.

From what happened last night at Armageddon it seems like JBL vs Y2J is gonna happen at WM. Could be worse I suppose, at least he's not gonna be in MITB.

And the only reason you're saying there's no feuds of any note developing is 'cause you're not bothered about Edge vs 'Taker. :p Personally if the WM card looked something like this:

World Heavyweight Championship: Edge vs Undertaker

WWE Championship: Batista vs Randy Orton

Hulk Hogan vs Steve Austin

MITB: Rey Mysterio vs Jeff Hardy vs Kane vs Elijah Burke vs John Morrison vs Finlay vs Carlito vs D.H. Smith

Ric Flair vs HHH

US Championship: MVP vs Matt Hardy

JBL vs Y2J

Bobby Lashley vs Mr. Kennedy

ECW Championship: CM Punk vs Shelton Benjamin

HBK vs Umaga

...then I'd be happy. I think all of that is realistic, too.

EDIT: I have no idea why there's an angry face at the top of my post...

haha yeah i was surprised to see it there...

yeah tbh that is a very likely card I would have thought, but Orton vs Batista would just be so uninspiring...

on a side note, you havent booked HBK or HHH for any matches on there lol...

D.H Smith is an insanely random addition to the MitB there. xD Prefer if Shelton was in the MitB and someone else challenged Punk for the ECW title, 'cause Shelton is awesome in ladder matches. and yeah, Batista vs Orton would probably bore me to tears. HHH vs Orton would be a match I'd prefer to see at WM

HHH is in there, against Flair. And I meant to add HBK vs Umaga too, will edit.

I only added him 'cause I couldn't think of any more mid-carders who might get a mini-push, haha. I considered putting The Miz in there but my conscience wouldn't let me. Plus the WWE apparently sees D.H. Smith as a huge prospect, so it wouldn't surprise me to see him get an "underdog" style push leading to him getting into MITB, and then feuding with maybe Carlito coming out of it.

flair vs austin would be worth seeing as well actually, although tbh I wouldnt really want to see Flair lose in his last match, neither would I like to see Austin lose considering he's not had a match for about 4 years, and probably wouldnt wrestle another one for a very long time.

Actually HBK vs 'U-man-ga' would be a pretty damn good match for mine. And fair enough, though, I have to admit I actually quite like The Miz. I don't know why xD I just do. His recent work with John Morrison and all that has been fine, in fact that Morrison/Miz/Punk match was one of the best on the entire SS cards for me, I really enjoyed it.

Haven't actually seen any of D.H Smith yet, been neglecting to watch RAW and SD recently.

Going back to my Regal reference, if JBL is coming back to the ring as planned, I wonder if we would potentially see William Regal joining up with Michael Cole as the SD colour commentator? He has expressed interest in going behind the announce booth after he's done as an active wrestler, and he hardly wrestles a lot as it is at the moment. Would be bloody awesome for mine, Regal is one of my very favourite performers, I was watching a bunch of his promo and segments on youtube yesterday, especially the ones with Tajiri. Jesus Christ, he is funny.

To be honest about Miz, he is definitely growing on me. I hate admitting it but he's developing into a good heel and a decent in-ring performer. He needs a new gimmick though.

And as for Regal becoming colour commentator, that would be heaven. Regal is one of the best mic workers in the entire company, never struggles to stay in character and would make an absolutely brilliant announcer. The only downside is that he'd have to give up being Raw GM, but I could handle that as he'd be giving it up for a bigger role. Plus Coach is on Raw anyway, he might as well do something.

JBL going out from behind the desk could actually present a problem, regal may be a decent option to replace him, as there isnt really anyone who can act as a sort of heel figure and work the mic well who isnt too tied up with in ring commitments, I imagine JBL will stay on as commentary for the time being, then probably get jumped by Y2J sometime in the coming weeks, to be replaced by todd grisham (or someone like that) on a short term basis, then the main replacement come in afterwards.
