Seen a few clips from the 15th Anniversary Show last night, looks great. Looking forward to seeing the full show. Hogan, Austin, Undertaker, Edge, Foley, Y2J, Flair, HHH, HBK, RVD (:-O :D...please let him be back long-term), Batista, Orton, DiBiase, Dusty Rhodes, Trish, Lita, Bischoff, Jeff Hardy, Kane - there's an argument to be made that that was the most star-studded episode of Raw ever. Just a shame the Rock was on what he called "a public holiday", or he'd have been able to make an appearance.
Reunion of Evolution and D-X. Fantastic stuff!

Gonna assume no one else has seen it yet (I watched it live) and without spoiling anything for now, I'll just say I was extremely disappointed by the RAW show this week.

I thought it was ok tbh, pretty good, funny and entertaining, nice to see Y2J finally get a decent pop, only dissapointment was the absence of the Rock, but then, no big surprise there i guess.

Reckon a commentator with his experience should know every signature move a wrestler has and call em correctly.

I feel that besides JR all of the commentators would've called it correctly, past his best IMO. How much longer does he have?
I thought JR's contract was meant to run out around October of this year, i guess its been renewed or extended for a while. In fairness I dont think JR makes this kind of mistake that often, but regardless of whether he does or doesnt I would still rather listen to him than most of the others, he can actually commentate on a match without sounding stupid or babbling out a loud of over-hype, JR is a voice in which the fans trust, and RAW wouldnt be the same without him IMO.

On the Subject of commentary gaffs though, I remember once when the Dudley boys did some sort of reverse suplex double team and michael cole screamed out "3D!!!! 3D!!!" only for JR to wade in and try to save the situation by saying ".......a version of it anyway....." Stupid Michael Cole, his most recent serious error being revealing the identity of Mcmahons illigitmate child before it was meant to be, or so i've been told

thought it was a bit of a shame that kane didnt really get any in ring time, just a stupid backstage skit with lita, and yeah does anyone have any news on RVD? is he meant to be back for good? as man I hope so.

It was quite amusing overall, but the actual wrestling content on the show was crap. Ladder match possibly the most boring ladder match Hardy has ever done, not helped by the fact they had a 5 minute break in the middle of it cutting out most of the action. Elation at the RVD surprise ruined by the fact he squashed Marella in about 20 seconds instead of having a proper match. Battle Royal was basically old men throwing themselves over the top rope after being punched once. Evolution vs Rated RKO and Umaga also lasted about 5 minutes. I just wish with some of the people they had there, we'd had an actual decent match, 'cause we could have had some crackers. It was mostly pap.

Nah I disagree. The Rock was overated tstl. I wouldn't want him there.

I watched it this afternoon, wasn't bad, loved the ending but somehow the show was still lacking...

Is there some background story to that Kane/Lita thing that I might have missed?

Yeah, there was a fairly dire angle a couple of years back about the two of them getting married, it was back when Kane was a heel. Then Snitsky hit Lita with a chair or something and caused her to miscarry, so Kane turned face. Why can't Kane actually get some decent storylines for once? Gah.

I'd just like to point out that if Edge wins this Sunday, it'll be his 22nd title reign in WWE. How this guy doesn't get the props he deserves is beyond me.

although edge is good at both, i think he's better as a heel, his last run as a face got very stale very quickly.

just noticed one stupid thing about the RAW show the other day, at the end of the night when all the superstars were in the ring having the beer bash CM Punk was drinking a beer, which kinda goes against his straight edge gimmick, bit dumb I thought,

also just found a spoiler for Armageddon this Sunday, looks almost certain that Orton will retain against Y2J, not that there was much doubt anyway, but at the tribute to the troops show which was filmed in Iraq this week and wont be aired untill after Armageddon Orton still had the WWE title with him, so guess thats pretty conclusive that Y2J will job tomorrow night.
