It is not like the ICC are short of $$. They just lack the sense to know how to distribute it properly.

They have committed to this tournament so should stop ing around and get on with it. the following is a quote from their FAQ section on the event:

The tournament is part of the ICC Development Program and is funded centrally by the ICC."

Yep - last time they sent me a press release on that I asked about the planning and was told 'they are in consultation with the respective boards'. For crying out loud, they have only had a year to get it organised.

Namibia have some decent talent coming through. It should be interesting to see how go against the big boys when they play Holland, Scotland, Ireland and Kenya. They seem to have always fallen away when they played sides with similar depth to them, but just a bit more talent.

Still a bit concerned about their batting, it's a bit hit-and-hope still with the occasional massive knock which saves them.

Bad news for Kenya before today's match - Obanda is ruled out with his injury still not healed.
A big blow, especially with Mishra also absent. This means Suji will probably bat at 3 again

Hopefully Luseno will get a run after his 4 for the other day - it would be good to see his pace put to use.

Rain and dropped catches! Kenya should have been 5 wickets into the Bermudan innings by the rain interval had catches been held and a bit of luck with an lbw shout gone the right way. The lbw situation is swings and roundabouts but the catches are a must at this level and Hemp is now capitalising on his escape.
