but, but, but....he's an Australian Idol! ?
Bah, he shouldnt have won, Shannon Noll was about 10000x better.

If Stewart keeps this up, and Mini plays next game, im going to kill someone. Mini = worst ****.

Surprised with Kimmorley really, hoping a QLDer smashes him in the second half, taking him out for the rest of the season, so that Sharks can have a shot at the title.

The curse is over. But what a finish, the most dramatic two minutes I've ever seen in SoO, but geez Hayne was dire at times.

QUEENSLANDER!

Anyone else get the impression the ref was instructed, with 10 to go, that he should play for 1-1? :p

Well played QLD, glad they won, made my tipping week a bit better, from 3 losses in a row, to picking the rest, could be 4, cant remember.

Great result for Queensland, thought the ref was shoddy. Thurston picked it up when needed.

Forward pass. Tho congrats to Maroons.
That remark could only come from a Blues supporter.I notice you did not mention the head high tackles, the scrum being set after Berrigans knockon a further 10 metre down the field to the blues advantage.

The ref made some pretty poor calls IMO, and you have listed a couple of them. It was a blatant forward pass though, and I'm very surprised that he didn't call it, and this is coming from a Queensland supporter.

Yeah, Qld's 2nd try resulted from a foward pass, but that's payback for the crap decisions we were handed in the first game. Hayne was woeful. How Hindmarsh didn't get penalised for a high tackle on Lockyer early, I'll never know.

Cameron Smith is so much better than Buderus. Made my night when Buderus got up whinging after being tackled by Smith and Smith had the biggest smirk on his face that said, "I'm so much better than you, you'll never get your Australian jersey back." QUEENSLANDER!

Geat night to be a QUEENSLANDER!

Well, Lyon was certainly dire....whilst i beleive he will come good, if he gets picked in any rep teams again this year, i'll cry...no really, i will..

Yeah she wasn't a great game last night - the ref was dire, as we've come to expect from Horror Hayne. I think he went out there trying to be Hollywood Harrigan (give no penalties). The difference with Hollywood was that he could give no penalties and yet - because he had the respect of the players - he could keep them back 10 metres and have no rubbish around the ruck.

By contrast, Hayne has no respect from the players (twice been voted the worst referee in a player's poll) and thus they just exploited his 'give no penalties' disposition by holding down the tackled player and not retreating the 10 metres. Then, after about 55 minutes, he decided 'geez better give a few penalties' and gives them for the sake of it, for what were very trivial infringements.

Think there's a long list of NSW players who will be feeling the pressure. Lyon, Cooper, Anasta and White. I think the one under the most pressure is King. He's let through 3 tries already this series.

Brent Tate, Karmichael Hunt and Johnathan Thurston are all major doubts for their clubs this weekend following injuries picked up from Origin 2 while Anasta is out anyway after finger surgery and Brett Stewart should keep his spot for Game 3 after Minichellio is out for then ext 3-4 weeks.

Meanwhile Penrith have signed Newcastle centre Brad Tighe. And I think last night showed that Syndey can no longer be called 'rugby league's heartland when they can't even sell out Origin and some of the dire crowd numbers. Looks at the Roosters, less then 5,000 showed up and I know about the storms but they got over 13,000 in Newcastle.

Yeah, considering both Brisbane Origin matches were sold out in less than a day, it is pathetic NSW fans can't even fill their own stadium for a must win game.
