Denly! at the Disco.

Bought some good lads today, and Hamlin is coming along nicely. Solid looking team now.

Season opener is hardly going the way I was hoping.

End of Over 40: 177-5, runrate=4.43
Reet 10-0-66-0
Fordham* 9 (12 balls)
Weerappuli 66 (67 balls)
Last Wicket: Dhindsa b. Khanyisile 14 (FOW: 143/5)

Should make 220, if the BT collapse doesn't show it's ugly face.

Made 250. Pullers fell just short of his maiden 100. Fair effort by the guy, though. Fordham chipped in with a quick fifty.

End of Over 50: 251-8, runrate=5.02
Karthikeyan 10-1-45-4
Fordham* 51 (44 balls)
Brayley 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Knowles c. Mcauley b. Karthikeyan 0 (FOW: 251/8)

Their top 3 batsmen are pretty gun, followed by some respectable-ish type batsmen. Who knows, we might get them 2 down :(

Carr 4-1-11-2
Moinuddin* 13 (35 balls)
Ravenhill 1 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Clarkson c. Allison b. Carr 1 (FOW: 115/8)

My match is as good as over, good start to the season, though Hocking and Hiller both made 90's, thats disappointing.

10.5 W Poke to Garrity
Poke charges in and delivers a stunning ball totally upending Garrity who has no choice but to pop the ball straight back to him.
10.4 W Poke to Hawes
Plumb! Finger is raised. Hawes walks dejectedly back to the pavilion. He was completely outwitted by that delivery.
10.3 W Poke to Africa
Went for the big heave-ho, but completely missed it! He hangs his head as he makes the long walk back to the pavilion.

Just looking through my match, Poke, what a legend

End of Over 28: 162-1, runrate=5.79
Croft 9-0-34-1

Moody 52 (64 balls)

This isn't going to be pleasant when I bat.

Playing on TIE, it's a game I should definitely win, and I should do if these two stay there. Still have Terry, Sutton and Donohoe to come though.

End of Over 40: 173-3, runrate=4.33, reqrunrate=4.30 (215-7)
Bond 10-0-45-0
Canning* 22 (15 balls)
Griffin 31 (55 balls)
Last Wicket: Tedstone c. Rush b. Todd 1 (FOW: 140/3)

Canning took 4-fer earlier as well.

$10 on PY to win his first match. Good odds i would assume.

Ratings the usual in my match. Could be sitting on the top of the table for the first week, with NRR, cbf working it out though.

Gun, got my 1st wicket in Divison Two and it was their best batsmen too. :D

Code:
15.2 W Muralitharan to Konara
He's behind you!!! No seriously, thin edge from Konara and Clayton celebrates one of the easiest catches he'll take all season.
Code:
End of Over 16: 86-1, runrate=5.38
Muralitharan 1-0-2-1
Peiris* 33 (39 balls)

I'd probably be tempted if it was nearer $100. :p

Your ratings are better than mine and will only continue to get better as your form and morale improve. :)

Won it pretty comfortably in the end

The Procrastinators 7/215 (50)
Canning 4/29, Erasmus 2/42, Potgieter 1/35

Magical Ponies 3/218 (44.3)
Griffin 60* (72), Farmer 59 (72), Kilkenny 55 (94)

Pretty happy with that batting performance. All of the top three made 50s, and only Tedstone failed. Canning started his season well with 4-fer and 38* off 25.

Decent enough ratings. That proficient spin should get up to strong as fitness and morale improves.

Managed to win ahigh scoring match by just one run.

oz fans XI 5/339 (50)
Olowe 132 (122), Grahame* 113 (94)

magachute 3/338 (50)

Pleased to start the season of with a win. Especially happy with Olowe's efforts. He is the oldest player in the team but in 3 matches he has scored 2 centuries and a fifty and is averaging 338 at a SR of 123. Grahame is another consistent performer.

PY making a decent fist of the chase at the moment
Yeah, I'm very surprised with how it is going at the moment! Problem is, these are two of my half decent 3 batsmen so I'm shafted if either of these two get out soon.

End of Over 18: 124-0, runrate=6.89, reqrunrate=6.44 (329-9)
Hamed 4-0-43-0
