Haha. I rested Canning and Tedstone in my final Twenty20, and my ratings went down to this:

Magical Ponies
Top Order: competent
Middle Order: mediocre
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: mediocre
Spin Bowling: respectable
Fielding: abysmal

Dire. Still won by 8 wickets though.

33/3from3.3

International Vice-Captain
I won my secong T20 match by like 30. Dobinson scoring a 55 ball century, and Floors scoring a 25 ball Fifty.
Edit: Oh when are FC games coming around?

Playing some poor sod who logged on for the first time today. Wilde has figures of 3-2-2-4, and they're 7/7 after 7. Not quite 33/3from3.3, but what can you do, eh?

Edit: crap, spoke too soon; 9/7from7. Spoilsports.

I'm bowling, getting screwed again.

End of Over 7: 70-3, runrate=10.00
Tynan 2-0-31-0
Agyemang* 11 (10 balls)
Hawley 38 (19 balls)

Last Wicket: Baines lbw b. Summers 17 (FOW: 29/3)

Could someone please explain how my bowlers, who virtually all of them if they played for the opposition would do well against me even tho my batting is decent, largely get friggin hammered playing for my side against weaker batting ratings even after Summers rips out some/all of their batting?

Getting rather fed up with this same bollocks happening every week.

The end of the World is nigh, Preece did something useful and took two wickets...

Hawley who's probably superb still smashing it around like all my bowlers are competents.

It looks like the lion's share of their runs were conceded off Tynan to Hawley. Tynan is an 8K BTR highish proficient by the looks of things, whereas Hawley is an 18K strong/superb or thereabouts (bearing in mind that I'm not that hot at estimating the skills, but still). That doesn't seem that ridiculous to me.

A near strong who has a defensive temperament, on defensive orders. The other three were getting hit til they came up against complete rubbish (tailenders etc.).

132 all out, should be game over.

I'm not a GM, I can't read mail sent to the contact form (assuming that's what you used - if not, then that's why it's not been read).

Bowled my opposition out for 27 today:

Over 1: 0/3
Over 2: 1/5
Over 3: 19/6
Over 4: 20/8
Over 5: 21/9
Over 6: 27/10 (well, over 5.3)

Knocked it off in a couple of overs, Perry getting 20 of the runs.

I've still not batted first. Oh well...

I'd rather not, I don't see why you can't explain it here. As I said I'm not a GM, it's not likely I'll be able to do much.

Well maybe, but then this guy was probably on a GFI to boot, having to beat you to stand any chance of proceeding. And yes, the others leaked some runs too, but then Preece is only a strong primary despite his awesome secondaries, and if we extrapolate from the fact that we've been told consistency will matter more in FC than OD, it could easily be the case that it matters less in BT20. And still he took 4-17, which is hardly a scandalous return against a team that will, after all, shortly be in the same division you were in last season.

Battrick's a Monte Carlo simulation, presenting a distribution of possible results. You'll get some outliers, you'll get matches that run to form ... but it's hard to believe that a team that's been promoted twice running, and was (I believe) the only undefeated team in the entirety of the English div III this season is getting screwed week in, week out. Is it not possible you're suffering from confirmation bias? Every event going against you seems to be taken as a scandal, whereas when something good happens, it's merely an indication of what ought to be happening all the time. Is it not just a matter of readjusting your expectations?

Put it this way: I wish when my team got screwed, they still won by 8 wickets and with a third of the overs remaining.

Anyway, I'm off to Dublin to get scandalously pissed. Midweek! Go me.

Edit: chased 14 in 1.5 overs. Liebenberg with 8 runs got MOTM ahead of Wilde and his 3-2-2-4.
