If this PFL hit from Twenty20 is any indication of what it will be like when (if ever) FC comes, i'm not looking forward to it all. All my starting players are lively (7) to energetic (9). Granted we played four days in a row and FC is only three days, with no training hit in between. So from that its seems most players who are training as well as playing will be invigorated by the end of FC matches it seems. Anyone with players with superb fitness (or something similar) stay at sublime fitness?

EDIT: Also why isn't there any stats from the Twenty20 matches?

All my non-trainee players are sublime, with the ones who are being trained at energetic -- and very few of them have anywhere near superb fitness.

This _might_ be because I didn't play a friendly on Sunday, and the BT20 comp has taken something like 40 overs of my team's time so far.

In real life, a single _average_ ODI is going to take it out of a team more than one day of an _average_ Test -- the ODI arena is just that much more intense, in terms of batting, bowling and fielding. It would make sense to me if a BT relative fitness drops were something like this:

1 OD match = 1 unit fitness drop
1 day of FC = 0.7
1 BT20 match = 0.6

Assuming an average amount of play per player, over a whole day, of course -- if it's all over before lunchtime, the drop will be less.

I reckon it's just because it's meant to be a bit of fun, rather than a serious competition. Just like Twenty20 in real life ;)

BT20 stats would be pretty inconsequential anyway, so why bother with the extra server load?

There's an idea, actually -- I think it'd be nice to be able to play BT20 friendlies rather than the real thing. Obviously, you'd get a shorter game, but you'd also get less of a fitness hit.

I played a playoff on Friday and a friendly, so thats what is dragging mine down
Hmm thinking about it my boys have played five days in a row too, from Friday to Tuesday. I guess FC is likely to just have half the effect hopefully. Its not often you will play five days in a row, but if FC comes it will be 5 out of 7 days, just spread out slighty more. I guess we will have atleast two (min) seasons before we have to even worry about it.

BTW how many International/U19 matches are during the week?

GFI'ing against some hopeless team.

End of Over 5: 67-0, runrate=13.40
Reed 1-0-13-0
Watkins* 43 (19 balls)
Ashton 24 (11 balls)

The PFLs of all my regulars are down to energetic... which is ridiculous given how short the matches have been (Appleby for instance has only faced those 50odd balls in that friendly in the last 4 matches). Same for everybody, but it's still daft.

Oh and we are getting Twenty20 stats, just Allan hasn't sorted the display for it yet.

I lost my first T20 match brutally against some team who were way better than mine, but then the last two games have been people who were only slightly better, and I've managed to win both. First win was a tight one, but this second one was a rout, my opening bowler got figures of 2-1-5-4, three wickets in his second over, and the 5th bowler I put in who's randomly crap and just there to make up numbers got 4-23 as well, and bowled them out for 78. Knocked off the runs in 8 overs, so considering my team are all new and crap I'm pretty pleased with that end result from the three games.

And that's the end of the match. Asterix XI won by 206 runs.
Asterix XI 236-0
Malvernites 30-10

Some interesting players on the market, Pob will buy them all though.

Another doddle of a win today, they got 66, I knocked them off in five. A little disappointed I bowled first in all three games tbh, would have liked to have seen how many I could have got against some Div IVs.

Few transfers coming in recently as well, swelling the coffers a little while I save up.

Try reading the 'Rules' section under 'Help' on BT for a feel of the game then read this rather outdated effort for a bit more advice.
