Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
As much as I hate to link to another cricket forum this is pretty much the best starting guide I've seen (though I've not read the entire thing through).

This may ended up being posted twice, but meh, it was being slow

How the hell did that team get through and i got knocked out, got so shafted in the draw, what a joke.

Luck of the draw I'm guessing. I somehow got through to the knockout stages playing extremely weak teams (my team is also weak) and I managed to get a bye this round as well. Don't really deserve to be in round 3 of the competition but that's the way it's panned out for my side.
