If I'm reading the Twenty20 announcement right, does it mean that the group matches are on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday following the playoffs? This has two potential problems for me, as, A, I'll hopefully be GFIing a playoff the day before, so my TFL will be dog dirt, and B, my friendly league has fixtures scheduled for the Sunday!
Hmm...the CW BT Cup final is scheduled for this date as well I think.

Scaly, My fitness was Lively, then I GFIed and it went down to Low, and by the end of the season I'll have TIEed my last three matches, so I was figuring three TIES would roughly equate to one GFI, is that not the case?

Basically your team fitness always tends towards fair, if it's lower than that it'll gradually rise, if it's higher than that it'll gradually fall. The further away you are from fair the faster it decreases/increases. So it's more complicated than simply TIE is worth this or GFI is worth that. GFI also halves the team fitness rather than decreasing it by a set amount.

Because your team fitness will keep decreasing like this you see much benefit out of a TIE when you look at your team fitness level two weeks later.

Well, game over for me. Looks like batting Canning higher was a mistake.

Code:
End of Over 9: 33-4, runrate=3.67
Cartwright	5-0-13-3
Kilkenny*	0 (1 balls)
Tedstone	0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Canning b. Cartwright 4 (FOW: 33/4)
8.6 W	Cartwright to Canning
Got him! Unlucky for Canning, he played on. But full credit to Cartwright, tempted him into a loose shot, thick inside edge and the stumps are in a right mess.
8.5 4	Cartwright to Canning
A rank half volley on middle stump, nicely put away through square leg for four.
8.4 .	Cartwright to Canning
That ball has swung a mile and Canning has got nowhere near it.
8.3 W	Cartwright to Griffin
Thick edge from Griffin and it's hit the man at slip on the leg! It's in the air, it must be. Yes, Elsegood caught it! OUT!
8.2 b1	Cartwright to Kilkenny
Terrible ball, terrible shot and terrible fielding. The batsmen steal a quick single.
8.1 W	Cartwright to Farmer
Bowled! The long walk back to the pavilion begins now. Farmer was well beaten there!
Edit: Terry and new buy Ziauddin put on a few runs for me, but I'll struggle to make 150 here.

End of Over 37: 131-7, runrate=3.54
Duce 7-1-18-2
Terry* 33 (72 balls)
Fernando 3 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Ziauddin c. Elsegood b. Duce 26 (FOW: 121/7)

My team played their first game today. Happy with their batting.

End of Over 50: 270-6, runrate=5.40
Briggs 10-0-61-1
Brooks* 8 (6 balls)
Olowe 88 (59 balls)

Last Wicket: Dodd b. Steggles 57 (FOW: 260/6)
Could have got closer to 300 if Willis hadn't scored so slowly (51 from 108 balls).
Hopefully they bowl well and I can get my first victory.

Top Order: superb competent
Middle Order: respectable proficient
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: superb superb
Spin Bowling: proficient proficient
Fielding: woeful woeful

Looks like I definitely shouldn't have had Canning batting at 5 instead of 6, given the strength of his openers. Oh well.

My bowling attack is getting hammered. Just got a vital wicket though so might be in with a chance if the team can take quick wickets.
