also how do i get my players into the nets
Firstly, make sure you have 10 coaches, and only 10 coaches (if you have more, you'll just be paying for their wages while they're not doing anything). Then just go to the Nets section under Club, then select whichever players you want to be on whichever nets you want them to be on, and click Set. Training updates occur every Monday, so if you change your mind before then you can change your net set up for the week.

only pop i can see

Stefan Norris - 19 yo, BT Rating=21,447
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, strong bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: remarkable Consistency: respectable
Fielding: feeble

Means my bowling attack now has 2 remarkables, a superb and a strong after i splashed far too much cash on Luke Sainsbury.

and how do you know who to train, is there something you need to look for or do you get the terrible players in the nets

When a player goes up a skill level think it might be an idea to read the rules!
Well, you should read the rules, but I think a lot of new members (on CW at least) would have trouble with the terminology. I doubt they actually use the word 'pop' in the rules for example. Anyway Bugs, you generally want to give nets to your best players rather than your worst ones, as each net costs you money (through the wage per coach), so you don't want to waste them.

Yeah but it gives you that understanding of the game which will help make that terminology easier.

You jammy bugger -- that's really quite a nice starting side!

However, you need to consider getting some decent 17/18yo trainees in -- Kirk's not worth it.

Yea, shows how easy it is to train players to elite in one thing or another. An initial training cap with further skills gained some other way would be so much better than having this ridiculous wage system.

I like the wage system, means that not just one person will dominate the game.

Hmm, details of the Twenty20 stuff is up, sounds good with it being a global comp. If gate receipts are the same as OD I could end up making a fair bit out of it, presumably there would have to be quite a few rounds.

BTW Mahindinho, accept my challenge.
