Ben Hollioake was prematurely labelled as being some young saviour and yet another in the never ending list of future Botham's

Mahmood constantly comes with the tags "great potential" "Has all the ingrediants"

So yes, thought of as ever so slightly key players.

The point is, terrible as Muller was in his Tests, there are far worse players who've been selected on far, far more dodgy premises.

Batsmen with First-Class averages of 22, for instance.

Don't seen what was so wrong with him. 7 wickets from 2 tests at 36.85, wasn't ever dismissed, and took two catches. By comparison, after two tests, Shane Warne had 1 wicket at 228, 20 runs and one catch. Glenn McGrath after two tests, had six wickets at 42.16, no runs and no catches.
