Forgotten Cricketers?

Yes, I know that.

But the only real reason he was in the squad was as a back up for injury to Jones - because there was no fill in in Trescothick (for one thing I believe getting anyone else out to Zimbabwe would've been a political nightmare bearing in mind the regime over there and their attitude to visas)

Therefore he was out there so given a game as he was then being selected out of a squad of 14/15 rather than had the game been in England (where there were so many more available)
Err, I actually hadn't spotted that.

You're right there.

There was this great Kiwi leg spinner...what was his name ???
Bill Bell
Oh yes and then there was that wonderfully explosive opener in the fifties from England...er...er..
Arthur Milton
And of course how can one forget that express fast bowler from India...now what was he called ???
Mohammad Nissar
How about that soft spoken, polite fast bowler from Australia....I cant seem to remember....
Graham McKenzie

Did think you'd not noticed it to be honest.

Is this a CW first though - Richard admits I'm right about something?!!!

Following on from last week's first of me giving him praise.

Nurse, I need my medication...

Ah, admitting a (rare) mistake will "make me a more respected poster", after all... that's what people have been telling me for years...

TBF, you did give me some credit for something... in about December 2003 as I remember...

Azhar Mahmood was so forgotten for so long that I forgot about it.

Great to see he's finally back, and not before time.

Pakistani selectors are awful.

Sajid Mahmood being a reject from Craig White and the Hollioakes...

And speaking of the Hollioakes, and Mahmood... you did mention key players? If so, you've rather made an ass of yourself... again.

Just too good, that. Real clever stuff right there.

You should be ashamed for not being able to resist reducing yourself to that, poindexter.

Unless you really are so dense, that you were thrown by what should have been an easy enough deviance to catch on to, for any one over about five years of age.

I already treat educating you as if you were an idiot. It appears I need to dumb down the structure to an even more basic level.

You have done nothing but cal him a load of insults there, without really explaining why you're right. Seems to me that you know Richard is right and you're wrong.
