Gloucestershire batted first and made 33. Tarrant opened the bowling and finished with the figures of 7 for 18 from 11.4 overs (3 maidens).
Middlesex then batted and hit up 145. Tarrant opened the batting and remained not out on 55 (one of the 6 instances of him batting through an innings).
In their second knock Gloucestershire made 81 and thus lost the match by an innings and 31 runs. Tarrant again opened the bowling and took 6 for 49 from 18 overs (1 maiden) to finish with match figures of 13 for 67.
In the second innings he also performed the hat-trick taking the wickets of numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the batting order with consecutive balls. A good day's work you might say.
