Did quite well in the end, given how I was earlier anyway.

Finished up with 245/7 off my 50 overs. Got a feeling that I'm still going to get rolled but least there's a chance it might be competitive!

And that's the end of the match. Roar CC won by 138 runs.
Roar CC 243-10
Ganja Men 105-10

Interestingly, I've been offered 8mil (or more if someone outbids obviously) for Swagat. Any thoughts?

It's against the rules, for one. Not sure how closely they can and do police that mind you, and I've no idea why.

It'll be difficult to replace him with 8m, if you're lucky you might manage a couple of remarkables with average secondaries. If you wait a bit longer his value will go up pretty quickly anyway, as more people will have that sort of money next season.

Edit: it's not against the rules though, only direct swaps are.

Yeah was a bit hasty that message on the front page a few people have become confused by it.

Just to clarify it it is player swaps between two teams say one team needs a bowler and another a batsmen they can not in affect transfer for a prearranged high price(which means they lose no money) don't think many people bar higher division team's would really have any chance of doing it though.

You don't have to arrange it at a high price (that would be illegal anyway), it's just a matter of bidding on each other's players whenever the other is outbid. Theoretically you can ensure you get each other's player without necessarily having to pay noticeably above market price. You'd still have to pay the 5% agent's fees obviously, so you do lose money.

Playing a match against the last side in the league tonight but i am quite a bit of a problem with losing 2 wickets in 2 overs on TIE :(

0.1 W Lenka to Edgehill
Edgehill is not happy with that. Everything was wrong. It pitched outside leg and he got an inside edge, but the umpire's given him out. He might get a fine for waiting so long before walking off.

Haha, got thumped as he GFI'd when I only normalled it. Lost by 7 wickets with 27 balls left.

Mamello (superb/med) got taken for 72 off 10. :(

Armstrong gets out off the last ball of their best bowler's current spell.

End of Over 20: 95-2, runrate=4.75
Chanderpaul 5-1-19-1
Wheat* 31 (45 balls)
Obrien 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Armstrong lbw b. Chanderpaul 33 (FOW: 95/2)

Dead Badger

Playing the team who just turned bot in my league, and have them 64-3 after 21 overs. All of those runs were conceded by my prof/resp bowlers, while my old comp/med defensive guy has figures of, well:

End of Over 21: 64-3, runrate=3.05
Oldman 4-4-0-2
Gauhar* 1 (13 balls)
Matharu 0 (0 balls)

End of Over 35: 160-5, runrate=4.57
Van heerden 8-0-35-1
Wheat* 63 (89 balls)
Tawanda 1 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Preece lbw b. Chanderpaul 1 (FOW: 151/5)

I expect Tawanda will get out very shortly, so that'll be three of my four middle order bats who've done completely nothing this time - one less than Sunday. Cracked pitch so no idea what the par score will be.

I'm in a lorr'a lorr'a trouble today! TIEing against a side with usual ratings of Resp/Med/Abs - Comp/Resp/Feeb, I thought It'd be tough, but not this tough!

Victoria Drivers 199/1 (35)Blair 89 (109), Atwood 63 (57) All the bowlers have struggled, Bridges M has the wicket, but is going at over six an over, I can't really work it out.

Will most likely be chasing something comfortably in excess of 300, let's hope Greening and Staveley have a good day at the office!

Later, Trev
