Great showing by Xavier at the moment btw. He's really putting his hand up with the current CW XI seamers struggling. Also good on Stedman and Das on excellent innings. It's a shame they're competing for the most competitive spots in the ODI team.

Cricket Web A v East Asia-Pacific XI
in Gardens Oval

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

Boundaries abounded in the tiny Gardens Oval, as another Stedman masterclass outclassed the East-Asia Pacific XI - who eventually escaped with a somewhat respectable 96-run defeat. Stedman and Das added 192 for the second wicket, ensuring victory, while only Keimelo could get any threat out of a rather helpful wicket. In reply, CW lacked some bite with the best players rested, but Rose struck with the first ball and Cunningham and Weber chipped in before Gelman tore out the heart.

Cricket Web A 313-4 (50 overs)
JE Stedman 143, AS Das 89; G Keimelo 2-57
East Asia-Pacific XI 217 (47.1 overs)
A Uda 89*; ZE Gelman 4-40, XPA Rose 3-51, TV Weber 2-50

Cricket Web A won by 96 runs
Man of the Match: James Stedman
Ten runs too much.

Solid start to the tour, Stedman gunning it. Hope to get a game or two when the longer version commences.

Great win by the lads there. Chaulky on fire.

Just a quick question: Its quite clear that im sturggling to get a game in the first XI and when i do i seem to only get 1 or 2 tests in a row due to form of me and other players. As the Test series is almost over am i any shot to fly to Australia and take part in the 'A' series. Im worried that the guys that play in the A series are getting more exposure to the selectors as they are playing more often and will leapfrog me due to that.

If not then thats all good, will be lookin foward to the next season with the Reds.
Liam now that my CWXI duties are over can a decision be made on this please.

Cheers Mate 8-)
