BARNES OUT
Chaulk's a legend (Stedman's okay too, I guess). Everyone at Black's a OD opener these days :p. Great start to the series though, we really needed to start well and thanks to Chaulk we have. Hopefully the form continues on for the whole series.

Also, this is why I thought the VC should've gone to Garven.

Man now thats how you put your name infront of the selectors eyes. Two of the best innings your going to see in a long time. Some brilliant bowling from Gundry as well and Rose well he did what all good fast bowlers do cash in when the tails around, notably NZ bat depth.

Brilliant performance guys. Wickets are wickets and after that average outing in T&T I'll take what I can get to regain form. Great parnership between Stedman and Chaulk there, who's staking his case to get back his place.

Cricket Web A v East Asia-Pacific XI
in Gardens Oval

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

Boundaries abounded in the tiny Gardens Oval, as another Stedman masterclass outclassed the East-Asia Pacific XI - who eventually escaped with a somewhat respectable 96-run defeat. Stedman and Das added 192 for the second wicket, ensuring victory, while only Keimelo could get any threat out of a rather helpful wicket. In reply, CW lacked some bite with the best players rested, but Rose struck with the first ball and Cunningham and Weber chipped in before Gelman tore out the heart.

Cricket Web A 313-4 (50 overs)
JE Stedman 143, AS Das 89; G Keimelo 2-57
East Asia-Pacific XI 217 (47.1 overs)
A Uda 89*; ZE Gelman 4-40, XPA Rose 3-41, TV Weber 2-50

Cricket Web A won by 96 runs
Man of the Match: James Stedman

Australia A v New Zealand A
in Marrara CG

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

Victory came in the last over, but Australia A had really been cruising, the only thing stopping them being Simon Katich' utter unwillingness to score runs. Hogging up 95 balls for 45 runs, Australia A still eked out a victory, largely thanks to well taken runs from WAussie pairing Adam Voges and Marcus North.

Aus A 232-3 (49.1 overs, Jaques 73, Voges 58*) beat New Zealand A 231-7 (50 overs, Sinclair 72, Papps 53; Hopes 3-50, Watson 2-23)
