You actually have to hit the ball to be out caught Rauf.

Still, good on Harris for getting his first test wicket.

Spot on. All that matters is that we pull off a historic series win in South Africa.
I cannot believe I am saying this. First off, I despise Dhoni with every fiber of my being. I will never forget Mumbai 2006.

With that said, he hasn't done anything wrong to warrant being dropped. Played some bad shots, but he was better than most of the top order batsmen.

Now if Karthik puts up a big century, then it becomes more difficult.
Every body makes mistake. He has learnt a lot after that. He played very well in the previous test and a century from karthik will be very effective but at the same time please do not forget that dhoni scored on a difficult surface and against slightly better attack(No harris and Nel balling very well).

Woohoo! Harris you beaut! A superb decision from the umpire, that wasn't dodgy at all. Clearly LBW!
It was given as caught, when it didn't even come near the bat

And if you think it's LBW, go watch it again, you could see middle stump

I know it was caught, I was being all ironical 'n stuff.

Of course you could see middle, it pitched on leg and was gonna viciously turn past off, but get a little reverse swing and clip the bails.

You keeping count? I had 13 (10 India, 3 SA) at Durban.
13 at Durban, I remember one against prince that was caught behind but wasn't given out, so thats 14. Gibbs was not given out, so that was crap, but he walked, so I still count it as a mistake because umpire said it was not out. And this is 16

Congrats to Paul Harris though Dinesh Karthik must be a wee bit upset, will never have a better chance to score his maiden test ton. However, the umpiring of Asad Rauf will be of concern to the South Africans also, considering Kumble's going to bowl a hell of a lot of overs in this test match and iffy decisions like that could be a regularly occurrence.

Last match, the umpiring errors were 10-3 in favor of SA. Let's hope that doesn't happen again. ;)
