Steyn is serving up huge piles of rubbish, pull him off. I hope he's not pulling up lame again. Again wide outside off, lucky not to gift Jaffer his 100.

Shameless spinners who get wickets because batsmen overrate them? That's sad.
I don’t believe they overrate them, if the guy could turn the ball the Indians would still try and give him the pump. However, some batsman namely a couple of Pakistani cricketers have a misconception that a spinner by pure classification should be able to spin the ball and went they don’t it creates confusion and doubt.

I have been a backer of Jaffer since ages even before he played a test. So this feels great.

Super stuff Jaffer.. :)
That is true, I remember your posts regarding Jaffer when no one was even mentioning him.

I like watching him, I wish he'd score a bit more on bowler friendly wickets but you can say the same with relevance to many batsman nowadays.

Even Amla might score some runs here.
His dismissals have been due to swing though, so as long as Sree and Zaheer can still move the ball in the air, I think they can still get him.

Jaffer just needs to bring up his century here, and I think it'll be smooth sailing. Just getting a bit anxious, anyone remember Pollock getting Gambhir out on 97 in the first test when SA toured India in 2004? Was sad. :(

Theres his 100. Well played and sensible 100. The guy deserves to be a first option opener from now on for India. This test series, without scoring runs until now, he was looking really good with staying there for a while and waiting for the ball to get old
