Batting: Bat at Number 11 (which I think says enough) - scored a grand total of 37 runs last season played, but it was in A-Grade and isn't what I'm there for (people don't realise that the only time an 11 gets to bat is against the good teams! It's a specialist position

). Have actually scored two 100's in third grade so can bat ok, like to play straight and am a hopeless player of the pull or hook - can cut quite well though. Played in England in 2002 and actually batted at 4! haha Apparently I was there to keep the innings together, but managed to average 42 which was ok. I was helped by a distinct lack of pace and bounce on most occasions (and the fact that it was English cricket

) . Haven't played since then cause I've been on a bit of a backpacking thing ever since, but this coming Aussie season it's back to the coveted 11 I'd presume - once the chiropractor ensures I'm not going to snap in half.
Bowling: I'm in the team to bowl, and open up with fast medium. I can move the ball both ways off the seam although I naturally move it back into the RH batsman. Tend not to swing the ball much but with seam both ways while it'd be nice it's not really a concern. Maintain a good line and length and am constantly amazed (and generally overjoyed haha) by the lack of patience shown by batsmen in my area (Gold Coast/Tweed comp if there's anyone else on here from that area). Averaged around 14 last season played with 28 wickets. In Plymouth, UK averaged 9 with 49 wickets (including about 15 dropped catches and a number of decisions where a player hit on the back leg in front of middle was considered "not out" - but we won't go into that! haha)
Best Cricketing Moment: (sorry added this one in) Playing a game vs NSW when they were touring some of the country areas. Their team included Slater, Bevan, Clarke, Bracken, Haddin etc and it was a fun day. Obviously we got flogged but I took 1/45 off 9 and hit Bevan for 4 before being bowled by Don Nash with a yorker that I never really saw haha. We ended up losing a 50 over one-day game by 180 runs which is impressive, but on the upside I hit Bevan in the testicles (this seems to be a common theme in my bowling tales! haha) which was good cause he was a bit of a tool. Slater, Bracken, Haddin and most of the other guys were really nice though. They made us look like we were bowling really slow when they batted - had so much time, and Greg Mail - the other opener - hit a square drive onto the clubhouse roof for 6, which was impressive cause I wasn't bowling haha. I was at the other end getting hit for 3 x 4 in one over by Slater.......
