kallis: easily
clarke: debatable but he *at least in my opinion* seems light yrs ahead in terms of where each was in their respective careers u could rate
malik: been playing very well recently, good calm batsmen, good offspinner *once action is cleared* good fielder - still very young
I thought to be an all-rounder they had to be bowlers as well?

Flintoff is a country mile ahead of all 3 of them with the ball in both forms.

Flacky's a great bloke and a top targetman but I'm not sure of his skills with the willow.

no potential with the ball
o m runs w ave bb 4w 5w sr econ
535.5 52 2372 83 28.57 5-26 1 2 38.7 4.42
For the record: Flintoff

O M R W Ave BBI 4w 5w SR Econ
467.5 38 1966 82 23.97 4-14 3 0 34.2 4.20

That is a very good record for a specialist bowler, let alone one that bats in the top 5.

Cairns in ODI's after playing his last Test Match
13 Matches, 270 runs@33.75, H/S:74
80 Overs, 18 wickets@17.61, B/B:4/33, RPO:3.96

going by his career averages of 29.72 and 31.63 it's hard for me to see that he is in decline
Good work Bryce. I thought he was of the mark with that comment. Thanks for confirming it.

I think one of the best guys to have for the last 5-6 overs is Abdul Razzaq.....
for a #7, he has been remarkably consistent of late....

Ideally i would like to see someone like Symonds/Razzaq/Klusener at one end and someone like Ranatunga/Rhodes/Bevan at the other....one who can get fours and sixes almost at will and the other who can rotate strike almost at will

The Indian ODI side should play Rahul Dravid at 5 or 6, maybe then he'll make this list.

woah woah woah ur entitled 2 ur opinion but 2 label what i think is a joke is a tad insulting?
because to label players who arent even all rounders over someone who clearly is is a tad insulting too.

and not surprisingly he averaged 62.50 with the bat and 13.67 @2.67 with the ball against b'desh in that space of time 8-)

Sehwag is a better choice.

And C_C, I agree, have one guy to do all the sixes and fours and another guy to keep him on strike.

err just because they bowl and bat it doesnt make them all rounders. by that definition even vettori is an all rounder.
kallis has been rubbish with the ball for god knows how long and malik's record with both bat and ball is far worse than flintoffs

well if you take that series away his batting figures don't look that great but he still managed a 69 against the Asia XI and 50 vs australia which shows he can still do the job, even without the bangladesh series his bowling makes impressive reading 15 wickets@18.40
