Only probably? The only Indian quick who'd make it ahead of him is Kapil, and that has a lot to do with his batting.....he probably would make an ATG Indian pace attack IMO
i will always love vinay. His pedestrianess is gunNever thought I'd see that name and that smiley in one unironic post.
It's often Anderson who is viewed as the archetype "his career average is inflated by a bad start" but it might actually be Broad who suffers more. Two thirds of his wickets at 25. Jimmy doesn't have a period that long, that good. Their averages are almost the same though.200 wickets at 25 since this thread was made.

Yeah but Broad could get another 100+ @ 25 and have an average under 28 which would give him the best record of any England pace bowler since Willis. Not a bad record to have. It's often Anderson who is viewed as the archetype "his career average is inflated by a bad start" but it might actually be Broad who suffers more. wait wtf he's already played 44 tests? i thought it'd be something like 35 tops.Nathon Lyon being 5th on that list is a bit of a surprise

I dunno... I can see an argument for Srinath or Zaheer?. I only used the word probably because I don't know how many quicks and ATG Indian team would even use/need... assuming they play Ganguly
I think a lot of us used to talk about Broads bad star when in comparison to other bowlers back in the day,Broad and Flintoffs starts made Jimmehs look brilliant and the same maybe happnning with Stokes. It's often Anderson who is viewed as the archetype "his career average is inflated by a bad start" but it might actually be Broad who suffers more. You were doing it when Broad took 8-15 iircI think a lot of us used to talk about Broads bad star when in comparison to other bowlers back in the day,Broad and Flintoffs starts made Jimmehs look brilliant and the same maybe happnning with Stokes.
but you were probably eating rusks and crapping your pants at the time.
Mind you so was I
Jimmy's close. His last 5 and a bit years going back to May 2010 have him taking 257 wickets @ 26.08.It's often Anderson who is viewed as the archetype "his career average is inflated by a bad start" but it might actually be Broad who suffers more.
