Yep confirmed carnivore checking in whose pace was detected at a mighty 110ks.If that were true then India's fast bowling stocks would all come from the half of the population who aren't herbivores.

I've got Mankad as well as Kumble. We will definitely play more than one spinner. And yep, he will still get in.
I'm not convinced that the amount of cricket you play domestically helps at all either, any pace bowler you have, who's genuinely quick, I can't imagine going anywhere near 100% at any time of the year due to how often they have to bowl. Likewise with ourselves, if it weren't for the fact that English conditions are almost always perfect for swing bowling, and are often useless for spin bowlers, I doubt we'd produce many great seam bowlers, simply because the schedule breaks them, and with the conditions it's no wonder that we constantly produce mid 80mph swing bowlers and crap spinners. The same goes for the pacy bouncy tracks of South Africa and Australia, and they consistently produce great seam bowlers who can hit the deck and get something out of the pitch that way.OK. So this is a theory based on playing exclusively in Gujarat. May not apply any place else. All the coaches in training camps were obsessed with accuracy in 12 year olds. My opinion is that they should have just allowed them to just bowl as fast as possible and worked on the accuracy later. It made bowling a bit of a chore and took away a lot of the excitement. Mind you, forcing us to play technically correct defence while batting did not have that effect. Not sure why...
RH has picked Mankad and Kumble so yeah. You could play 3 spinners and might still have him open with Kapil ayway. We will definitely play more than one spinner. And yep, he will still get in.
I do agree with you somewhat. The coaches here in Pakistan generally don't tamper with bowling actions at such a young age. Kind of follows from Imran I suppose. His theory was just to go in there and bowl quick. Actually that's how you become a fast bowler. You run in hard, you bend your back, you see how quick you are and how quick those around you are and you try to beat their pace. Additionally you gauge your pace seeing how uncomfortable you can make the batsman. That was my experience in street cricket. Guys just went in there and tried to bowl as fast as they can and in the process if they hit somebody on the body here and there then that was an additional bonus for them, making the batsmen uncomfortable.OK. I don't think Broad would make an AT Pakistan XI. You have Imran Wasim and Waqar as lock ins. Then you have fazal, shoaib and some of the fixers (possibly) ahead of him.RH has picked Mankad and Kumble so yeah. You could play 3 spinners and might still have him open with Kapil ayway.
Which other all-time sides could he make?
SL comfortably, he'd be their best seamer next to Vaas. SA, WI, Australia no chance. England only if you restrict it to post-war and don't like Bob Willis.
NZ possibly - you probably have to pick two out of him, Bond and Cowie. Since Broad has played four times as many tests as those two put together it's not much of a stretch.
Pakistan outside shot if you play four seamers and pick him ahead of Fazal - attack of Wasim, Waqar, Imran, Broad, Qadir, if you put Imran in the top six. You probably wouldn't as it's light on batting.

Fazal could well be. Shoiab, Asif, nah. Broad has more wickets than the pair of them put together could manage in the same era and will give you more than twice as much with the bat.Fazal, Asif and Shoaib all ahead of Broad.
It is true that shoaib has serious fitness issues but you can keep rotating fazal shoaib and amir. Pkus you also have Saqlain as a spin option. Fazal obviously didn't have fitness issues but in terms of quality asif shoaib and fazal are all significantly better than Broad.Fazal could well be. Shoiab, Asif, nah. Significantly is a ridiculous term. Broad and Shoaib are very close players, both comfortably better than Asif.It is true that shoaib has serious fitness issues but you can keep rotating fazal shoaib and amir. Pkus you also have Saqlain as a spin option. Fazal obviously didn't have fitness issues but in terms of quality asif shoaib and fazal are all significantly better than Broad.
Nah he'd make the Aussie side........simply because they love him so much they'd have to pick him. #stuartbroadisatopblokeReally don't see Broad making an all time Pakistan side tbh, unless, as has been said, you bat Imran in the top six. If he bats seven wouldn't you have:
Imran
Wasim
Qadir/ Saqlain
Mahmood
Waqar
?
He'd have choice of ends for India, Zimbob, Bangers and SL.
Wouldn't make SA, WI or Aus all time teams, obviously
it was a joke dammitIf that were true then India's fast bowling stocks would all come from the half of the population who aren't herbivores.
