Will Geriant Jones become the new Gilchrist?

there is no Gilchresque keeper asides gilchrist himself, the only one who comes anywhere near close to him is sangakarra. gilchrist is a world class batsman, dhoni i very much doubt is anything of the sort, i am quite confident he would not be a patch on gilchrist over any period of time, esspecially tests.

i think you was closer with the no one is like gilchrist part.
Jones is nothing like gilchrist apart from they are sponsored by the same manufacturer and they are wicket keeper batsmen. Thats about it

true, the closest to him in terms of ability is sangakarra as well, everyone else is centuries away, quite literally.

More than likely not - or should that be 'less than likely so', because such talk is as out of place as the usual 'Irfan Pathan to replace Kofi Annan as Secretary General of the UN' rubbish we had recently.
LMAO!!! Ohh.. that's hilarious..

I think I will be the next gilchrist if Jones or dhoni can be the next gilchrist, then why not me.

International Coach
Quite clearly yes, infact he already is twice the keeper and batsman that Gilchrist could ever dream of being.

No. I reckon he(and Read) should be dropped for ever after this tour - to be replaced by James Foster in the short term and young Steven Davies of Worcestershire further down the line. Why Foster was not on this tour only Fletcher knows.

Norwood's on Fire
No, but looking back people clearly thought he was going to be better than he turned out
