More consistently owned the decade than Warne, Lara, Ambrose and Akram.

I don't see how Ambrose did better than Tendulkar in the 90s. By 95 he was past his best.

Tendulkar was a teen sensation start of the decade and then had eight years of worldclass standard.

He averaged 58 that decade well ahead of the rest, only three others averaged over 50 aside from him.

That's Because Steve Waugh/ Australia played majority of matches against big teams

You need both consistency and ATG series, think Ambrose has both in suffecient amount, while Lara was lacking in extended excellence.
