Don't forget Craig McMillan.Arjun said:New Zealand- Lou Vincent. He does nothing useful, then gets a century in India along with Mark Richardson.
How did he go against Lee in the World Cup? I think you will find that Lee got him out both times cheaply that they played.ReallyCrazy said:A short one from Lee and Ganguly smashes him over midwicket for six![]()
Slightly better than average bowler who can bat a bit. Umm... Boycott says he can't bat for nuts. Still, he's not as good as Kallis, Klusener, Pollock, Cairns, Styris, Oram, Flintoff, Tudor, Akram, Razzaq, Azhar Mahmood or even Andy Bichel, who's not even branded an all-rounder! An all-rounder can change a match being good at both skills, like those examples. Agarkar can't. Besides, having these little men as strike fast bowlers has a lot of kickbacks. I would rather have a Pollock or Cairns in place of Agarkar.no all-rounders for india you say?? then whats agarkar?
Because they don't get to face the Indian attack.Arjun said:West Indies- The pair of Hooper and Chanderpaul, along with Sarwan and even Gayle. They blow away the Indian attack with big sixes and frequent fours. Why can't Indian batsmen do the same?
So what if they don't? The Indian attack is as good as most other international attacks. Anyway, there is a hint of them going for the big ones, as they did in Pakistan. The team needs more like Sehwag- I don't care what the purists say, he is definitely a player many sides would want.Because they don't get to face the Indian attack.
1/ It was a joke.Arjun said:So what if they don't? The Indian attack is as good as most other international attacks. Anyway, there is a hint of them going for the big ones, as they did in Pakistan. 2/ Balaji was. 4-0-44-0 was it?Mr Mxyzptlk said:1/ It was a joke.
2/ The saviour Pathan and his sidekick Balaji weren't around when Hooper and Chanders were belting the Indians.
3/ It was a joke! Hence the.
Indeed. A couple noballs, a couple wides... a few fours... a six...Neil Pickup said:2/ Balaji was. 4-0-44-0 was it?

Now what game was it that Ganguly hit Lee for six?
Recently as of the West Indies series.SpaceMonkey said:Until Recently probably Flintoff, but lately he's slowly turning into the player we know he is. I'd have to say Mark Butcher. The guy has BAGS of talent, easily the most in the England side just he has ZERO powers of concentration and usual gets to the 20-30 mark beautifully then gets out slashing to a really wide one or pushing out to a wide one he could leave.
He was, a few good knocks doesn't keep you in a team. Although his 194 was STYLISH!Sanz said:Saeed Anwar.
I agree with them all apart from our boys and Ganguly.PY said:I quite the like the idea of a thread saying which player from your country annoys you the most because there would be lots of different opinions on that topic.
But in line with the topic:
Australia : Bevan
New Zealand : Richardson (and Vettori in the last series against England in England.)
India : Ganguly
Pakistan : Youhana
Sri Lanka : Atapattu
South Africa : Smith
West Indies : Lara
They are just personal opinions, I haven't researched them so might just be a distorted memory.
For England, the people who have frustrated me a little in a petty way are :
Butcher, Vaughan and Flintoff for their obvious talent yet they haven't YET been able to perform like the Australian and Indian batsman have and do it year-in year-out at the peak of their game.....am I asking too much? Quite probably but I wouldn't be English if I didn't have a moan.![]()
