No, it's more like if it's got webbed feet then it must quack and...if it's got webbed feet and it quacks....
well.. I already responded about what I thought of that attitude. I just still think the earlier attributed comment was far worse than whatever it is that he actually said.. that is all.In summary, he's a ****ing dick.
No idea why people are trying to defend the BCCI and whether he actually said the exact words. The attitude exists, and its even infected the players.
As huge a Kohli fan as I am, the fact he tried sledging Warner by saying "wait til you come to India" is embarrassing. Was so disappointed in that.
Love how Warner said "I'll average more because its easier to bat on those wickets" (or something similar). WAG Warner is.
**** you BCCI
Nothing wrong with that if it was said under any other context.. The problem with making these statements now is the fact that they don't seem to address their own technical weaknesses which led to 0-7. The defence right now seems to be 'oh well the English and the Aussies can't play spin so if its ok if we can't play pace and seam'.Nothing wrong with that, maybe not rank turners, but we definitely need more wickets like the one we had during the first test of the WI series at the kotla.
Negligible point when India don't have a spinner to pick for themselves, tbh. Honestly don't even think they're good enough to stop a decent visiting side right now."We need to realise that when we go overseas every country prepares wickets to their own strengths," Gambhir said. "So once the other teams come home we need to prepare tracks to our advantage as well. So there should not be a lot of talk when Australia or South Africa or England come home that we should not be preparing turners. I think we should be playing to our strengths, and if we can prepare rank turners, that's where their technique and their temperament will be tested."
Indeed. Think though this is also a bit of venting as I'm sure he and a few others like Kohli in the Indian camp have copped loads of taunts from all corners.Nothing wrong with that if it was said under any other context.. My point is, don't worry about whether how you will beat them on your turf..You should be working on improving your own game right now..Just because you think the English and Aussies can't play on your turf is no excuse for not trying to improve your game so you can score runs against Siddle, Pattinson and Hilfenhaus in Australia
Then it's time to man up and face the music. Improve for ****sakes, not do this kindergarten bull****.Indeed. Think though this is also a bit of venting as I'm sure he and a few others like Kohli in the Indian camp have copped loads of taunts from all corners.
I don't even know where to begin with this post...What is Gambhir on about, don't India already prepare rank turners? I certainly don't see any seaming tracks over there.
So what do you class your pitches as?I don't even know where to begin with this post...
Flat. We tried preparing rank turners, but then some teams decided to have a sook and complained to the ICC.So what do you class your pitches as?
