If Kane's captaincy doesn't work out, then yeah I can see it. Not like there's an abundance of good keepers coming through either.
I'd say we've already got more than enough evidence to realise his captaincy will not work out, at least not in this current environment.

Hesson and McCullum worked extremely well together, because McCullum was the chest thumping, gambling tactician who wanted to lead from the front in all aspects including being vocal. Hesson and Williamson will not work well together because Williamson needs a Rixon/Bracewell as much as Fleming and Vettori did. He won't rise up and take this team by the scruff and expect them to set and maintain standards in the way McCullum did, which can be seen by the fact our fielding standards have dropped massively and our bowlers are completely hopeless at constructing plans.

Either sack Williamson and find another McCullum (none in NZ Cricket at this point) or sack Hesson and find another Steve Rixon.

Cricketer Of The Year
I'd like this post, but there is nothing about Roydon Hayes that one can justify liking.
Haha, quite. Imagine if he'd played, and committed his atrocities, in the new media age. Much different to how it stands, that 99% of Cricketweb probably don't even know who he is, let alone what he did and to which family.

Please do tell, a quick google search didn't yield anything
