What is he doing these days, i remember on his test debut against Australia a few years ago he was lighting up the speed gun around 86 mph, surely he still involved in cricket these days

Heard he bowls off spin in the Cheshire League somewhere.

Romesh Kaluwitharana

If Sanath had any sense he would bring in Romesh has a batting coach advisor to the Sri Lankas cricket team, he would make the batsman think with aggressive intent of scoring runs.

Sri Lanka need to go back to there old style of play of playing attacking cricket or they will end up in the doldrums

I dunno. They batted pretty damn well against us in the test series. Kaluwitharana's record indicates that he ain't the best to ask about scoring runs, as he didn't get that many.

I think he batted just fine... he did the job he was asked to do and was one of the reasons Sri Lanka went from easy beats to World Champions within four years in limited overs.

Franklyn Rose, Nixon Mclean, Reon King

What stopped these guys from being a major force in West Indies cricket, they had the pace bowling around 87 mph.

Rose was always late getting on the bus. It used to give his team mates the shits big time. They'd be waiting for ages and he'd be standing there chatting away to some random on the footpath. You'd hear Clive Lloyd sing out......

"Franklin Rose get on board".

Perhaps the fact that stopped them being a major force in West Indies cricket was that they were actually a bit rubbish.
