Genuinely loved watching Sammy and Bravo in Tests. I have no idea why but I wanted to see them do well.

daren powell probably the bottom of the barrel of the post ambrose/walsh era.

Mushfiqur Rahim vs Alec Stewart

Both men where known has match winners with the bat and like to take the attack to the spinners with use off the feet and the sweep shots which is very rare in cricket, but who was the better batsman for you in all formats of the game.

Stewart in tests not really an argument there. I think Rahim has benefitted a lot from odi roads and two new balls lately. I would say if Stewart had played odis now then his stats would be better than Rahim. Under the same conditions I would play Stewart over Rahim in all formats

Flametree

International 12th Man
Unless it's on a spinner's paradise this isn't even close. Stewart the better keeper, miles better opener, and I'd take him in the middle order. Even then, Stewart's problems vs spin were generally overstated (most people had problems with Warne).

a massive zebra

International Captain
To play 131 Tests, Rahim would have to maintain a regular place in the England side for at least a decade. Given that:

a. England have arguably not introduced a better batsman than him to their Test side since Root debuted in the early 2010s, and
b. He has been a better batsman than the majority of the English top 6 for several years.

He would be getting close.

However, he definitely wouldn't play 131 Tests for England as a keeper! He would not have got in the England side ahead of Prior, and Rahim vs Bairstow would be healthy competition. Certainly Rahim would have kept in Tests for England, but no more than 50-70 Tests if he was was lucky. Which is probably slightly less than the amount of Tests Stewart played as keeper.
