He's a good mate of yours isn't he
Genuinely never met the bloke. First saw Cameron in a NSW v WA state one day game a fair while back, he started by taking a couple of top order poles before a excellent rearguard partnership by Marcus North and Brett Dorey, he then returned at the death to clean up North with genuine pace, and win a tight game for NSW. Thought he should have played the Ashes a couple of years later after taking 11-52 (!) in a Shield game around that time.

He really was that good, just a shame he was made out of glass

He bowled serious wheels didn't he? Was he around the ODI or Aus A set up for a while there? Sort of had a bit of an NCN-type looking action didn't he?

Yeah Cameron was seriously fast, only time I can recall seeing a speedgun on him he was getting them through about 145ish. Played a couple of games for Aus A, a tour of India iirc. There was a touch of similarity to NCN about his action, and probably physical appearance too tbh

Yep, bowled big outies when he felt like it too.

Yeah the best thing about NCN is that I sometimes get Mark Cameron flashbacks watching him ("85% NCN 15% Patto" was a call I heard not along ago that I largely agreed with). Their actions are/were very similar but Cameron always looked a little more natural and fluid doing it, like he'd been bowling the exact same way ever since the first time he ran in with a tennis ball in his backyard. NCN almost bowls with a laboured version of the same action. Back injuries ruined the chances of either playing Test cricket so it certainly doesn't seem like one you'd like to kids to copy, sadly.

Yeah I do recall seeing him during the shortish period he was around and thinking he really looked like he could be something special. Sadly wasn't to be.

Just looks like a misunderstood character really the Aussie selectors seem done with him since his troubles in England he had.

Living proof that ODI stats mean jack ****. Probably the worst player with stats like that. I can't wrap my head around how Buttler can average and be one of the best going around while hacks like Rayudu and Imam can average that high.

I actually rate Rayudu. Truly a misunderstood cricketer. He'll do a better job than Shankar at 4 anyway. That's a train wreck waiting to happen.

Rayudu replaced by Shankar is an example of one average player replaced by another. Pant though inconsistent, is a match winner and should have been picked.
