Decidedly better away record than Kane and still very productive at home. Don't think Flower is proven enough v quality pace to beat Hubert but we've established our stances there.I love Lloyd, but him over Williamson and Younis I don't agree with (Flower as well, but that's very much debatable)

Williamson have played away in big countries in prime really seldom. His home record is just a different level to Lloyd. Overall, I don't think even Lloyd can cover that 8 runs difference in average.Decidedly better away record than Kane and still very productive at home. Lloyd v Younis... I just think both were excellent in Asia and Lloyd was definitely better v pace.
Longevity isn't an issue for Lloyd too. He was around forever and never tailed off.
Kane rarely playing away in big countries has contributed to the 8 run difference you specified. That&being ruthless v poor attacks whom he has faced a lot. Obviously that isn't a weakness in isolation, but Lloyd's considerably better away record is more critical to me.Williamson have played away in big countries in prime really seldom. Younis wasn't just Great, he arguably is the best ever vs spinners.
If you grow up in such conditions your style of bowling adapts ..Waqar averaged higher with the ball in Australia, England , New Zealand , South Africa etc than he did in Pakistan , his style of bowling suited abrasive pitches found in Pakistan because he mastered Yorkers and reverse swing.Success in Pakistan with the ball is a less frequent art than success in Pakistan with the bat so Waqar is a bigger point of difference.
Obviously that is all true. It is still a valuable and infrequent skill. @trundler mentioned this and he's correct. Growing up in Asia does give you a better chance of thriving there than growing up elsewhere but Pakistan pitches are often the flattest in the world and being very penetrative there is a bigger challenge and thus point of difference than most countries. If you grow up in such conditions your style of bowling adapts ..Waqar averaged higher with the ball in Australia, England , New Zealand , South Africa etc than he did in Pakistan , his style of bowling suited abrasive pitches found in Pakistan because he mastered Yorkers and reverse swing.

A good yorker should be good anywhere.
Reverse swing surely makes it harder to keep outA good yorker should be good anywhere.
