Agreed.

And benchmark00 - you're a bit beyond the pale, mate. First you're trying to write off Lehmann's racist comments by insinuating that the Sri Lankans were playing "victim", and now you can't keep a lid on your own homophobia. I have pretty low expectations for this kind of thread in general, but this one was substantially worse than usual.

hmmm seems like someones paraphrasing... did i not say that lehman deserved more matches for his actions? does that sound like im writing off his comments?? selective hearing i see....

for those who missed it, here is my list again:

People who support Murali:
- Slater
- Holding (Slater claims this in that SMH article)
- Dean Jones (see above)
- Gavaskar
- Steve Waugh ("Murali is the Bradman of bowling")
- Mark Nichollas (has written a number of articles in defence of Murali)
- Ian Chappel (when asked "does Murali gain an unfair advantage?" he said no)
- Akram
- Walsh
- Harbajahn Singh
- Barry Richards
- Daryl Foster (claims Murali is unfairly targeted)
- Bruce Yardley
- Bruce Elliot
- Ravi Shastri
- and ofcourse Bradman (albeit controversially)

Look, they know more than all of us. So lets just listen to them.

And also, its rather simplistic to say that opinions are divided solely on nationality. Some of the Sri Lankans here should keep in mind that Murali has a lot of fans in AUS and I am one of them. Infact the two founders of the MFC (Murali Fans Club) are two Australians : Justin and Robert (dont quote me on the 2nd name).

first it was "everyone thinks Murali chucks". When this is disproved, its some new excuse. (lol...I'm even called an idiot).

Obviously if ex cricketers (Walsh, Bradman Gavaskar) as well as Biomechanics (Foster, Elliot) all agree that he doesn't chuck, then he DOESN't chuck. Simple.
