Oh wait y’all already said all that
Conway is not technically perfect, and the way he is sometimes described as either a nurdler or a stylist/technician has sometimes struck me as inaccurate - but the below still seems like a very weird description of his batting:Stuff

The one eyed out in force in the comment as well
This seems like a more accurate description of his style.Conway is not technically perfect, and the way he is sometimes described as either a nurdler or a stylist/technician has sometimes struck me as inaccurate - but the below still seems like a very weird description of his batting:
"Conway has never been a batter you’d used to illustrate an old MCC coaching manual. Even at his prolific run-gathering best, he’s been substance over style.
There’s not a laconic grace to his batting; it’s instead bustle and belligerence, intertwined with the desire to not let the opposing bowlers gain an ascendancy - and it’s worked brilliantly."
His innings, despite coming at a strike rate of close to 160, was not a combination of brute force and innovative strokes. He relied on conventional cricketing shots and picked the right ball and the right bowlers to attack.
That, coupled with his dexterity against pace and spin, enables him to score irrespective of the opposition and the conditions.
This is the worst Mortal Kombat ever.
There's a lot happening in this image but they've put the most important part sideways.
