Harmison has 102 Test Wickets @ 24.73 including 4 five-fors.
Pathan has 21 @ 41.19 including no five-fors.

I think that answers your question.
Forgot myself that this discussion is more regarding to Test cricket than ODI.

Anyway, as I said, I'd prefer to bowl Harmison ahead of Pathan. :p

Pathan rules!! ever since he had started his career, Pathan has been doing extremely well. PPl try to underestimate him probably coz he's an Indian and there is a general impression that India doesn't produce good fast bowler, but i think this guy will be the number one bowler of the world in a year or two.
In a year or 2, most of the current bowlers will still be around.

You people are way off the mark:

I'd go:

Maori's Idol (ok he was a trotter but how can you leave him out)
Pure Steel
Cardigan Bay
Bret Hanover
Niatross

Yep Jonesy, Maori's Idol - what a horse! Wasnt he the first trotter to win a grand circut race against the pacers? Unbelievable feat that.

My favourite harness racer ever would have to be Excella Lord though. Never forget that night in crown when i smashed it in from $3.90 to $1.50 on the tote. Granted there was only 2000 in the pool before i got on but my what a thrill to see what all my cash did to the pool.

Sorry, I thought we were talking about pacers still active - and I've only recently come to the racing game in the last five years.

If we are moving to trotters, have you guys seen much of Lyell Creek?
