Who reckons I'm going to pass 1,000 runs (51 away) and 100 wickets (3 away) in the next game (vs Black tomorrow)?

Great allround performance Reds. Especially Kenny and Dave Watt. Certainly a great start to the season, if only we didn't drop those catches against Colts.

Spare a thought for Sean Bennett...stranded on 99 wickets :D
And Langley dropped a catch which would have been 100

Brillant win there, reds, lets keep it flowing, great stuff from watt in the second innings, 7 wickets, damn,
Would have been nice, to have played more part in the match, my batting is really down in the dumps, its getting annoying, but the good thing is, that we won, so lets keep it going.

Well played (again ;)) Reds, great win therre, we could go all the way this year, and we're performing even without the big stars.

Personally, well, 28 not a great score, and then 6*.

Took a catch as well.

Good start to the season! However, some serious problems with the fielding.

We have had 47 catching chances, and just 24 have been held. That's 23 dropped catches! Main offenders: Tharmi (4), Kenny (3) and Marc (3), with many players on 2 drops. We're still winning, but c'mon, 23 drops?! We could have finished our games in half the time.

GO REDS!

Drops are an integral part of the sim.

I'm just happier we're creating the chances to get the wickets in the end.

I mean look at the Ashes - England dropped more chances in the series, but it didn't appear that way because they created that many more chances so the drops weren't so critical.

True, however we dropped 3 (4?) catches during Wright & Thomas' partnership (not to mention missing a simple run out chance).

I pretty much agree, though I think with a slight increase in catching training we could see a greater return on our bowling efforts :p

Puzzling performance there. Some great batting from Stedman especially, Jamee got a half century, and some very good bowling from Nick - but the dropped catches. G.K.K Dobson (aka KennyD) dropped 5 catches in the match. His record - 11 chances, 3 catches, 8 dropped (he's also missed 2 run out chances).

Though, if Marc's correct that it's just part of the sim, who knows? However, Ian - 6 chances, 5 catches, 1 dropped. Borcich - 3 chances, 3 catches, 0 dropped. 10 dropped catches in the match, by the way.

Good performance I think, though our fielding is killing us
