No, I stole it off Halsey from the Season 6 thread and changed it from "Blues" to "Reds"

G'day fellas.

Humble apologies for not being around for the first quarter, the old bucket of bolts decided to die for good - and no thats not my car David ;)

It appears we've had our chances to take a favourable result on occasions we just havn't had the intensity to see us over the line. Can't be disheartened at our position - alot of blokes are having great seasons thus far and thats only good news for the future.

Special congrats to my partner in crime, Mr Kennett, for his outstanding performances in the recent Test series against Sri Lanka - not too bad for an old bloke eh? :p . But seriously, credit to this bloke, leading into the series there were some question marks over his head but his performances should hold him in good stead with the selectors.

Well, in summary - I'm back and the itch is burning more than ever (no not the one that I got off Garven's girlfriend, but thats another story...) So lets fire up and get some results on the board.

Watch out Trav :)

Watt takes the reins

I am pleased to announce that Dave Watt is to captain the Red side from now until the end of the England tour.

If I am able to play any games in that time, I will be a normal team member, in order to maintain continuity.

Very honoured to be given the chance to lead the Reds into the next part of the season - I'll do the very best to repay the faith shown in me by Marc and the selection committee.

Lets go Reds.
