We admire you Sean, for your ability to take the laughter fast bowlers deliver at you.

Talking to my old bowling mates at the Reds some of them are privately fuming at some of the things being said by their batsman. While they enjoy banter with the best of them, they are annoyed that their batsman are overstepping the mark and giving the new Colts side and in particular their captain an added incentive to want to beat the Reds and beat them badly. Talk it up all you want fellas, take the Colts lightly at your own risk. If I'm in the right frame of mind I can make you all look like Ian Harvey. (Only a select few will understand that reference).

Deep down we know the real thing happens on the field, but if certain people are stupid enough to rile established quality quick bowlers then one wonders what the reaction will be, 5 or 6 beamers an over?

By the way, to anyone who cares, no Red bowlers are fuming, Kyle was lying.

For the record the above post is a load of rubbish, as there are some very angry senior members of the side about comments made by certain batsmen.

I hope for your sake that you perform well from the first game, because although it's a democratic process, there's at least 2 members of the selection committee who are looking for any excuse to bring in a different player to the batting line-up.

I'd be wearing as much protection as I could lay my hands on if I were you...

I hope for your sake that you perform well from the first game, because although it's a democratic process, there's at least 2 members of the selection committee who are looking for any excuse to bring in a different player to the batting line-up.

Well Marc, if you're suggesting that I'm good enough to make the side were it not for any grudges held by you, or anyone else, then thank you, as I'll take that as a compliment. And assuming that is what you meant, and this is all from what you've said, wouldn't you be putting out a team that's weaker than the strongest possible team we can field?

I won't begrudge anyone taking my spot, because I know that anyone here at Reds is deserving of doing so. So whatever Marc, I'll do what I can.

There are no grudges held, but off-field attitude and the harmony of the Reds do pay a part in selections (as they have done in the past for the Reds)

Here's CW Red on ICC, doing reasonably well. Oddly enough, Hak, Ian, Dave and I were called up for international duty. Hak and Dave did well.

Gaurav has been a revelation, he's been quite a force! A sign of things to come? Stedman has been good, 2 OD centures (413 runs @ 51.62, SR of 111.01). Bowlers are struggling. Btw Tharmi didn't fit into the screenshot, but his stats: FC (Bat - 35 runs @ 35, Bowl - 1 wicket @ 96) OD (Bat - 21 runs @ 10.50, Bowl - 2 wickets @ 50.50)
