Over 12 hrs since I posted and tumbleweed is blowing through the thread.

Shows I made I correct decision to leave. People either have no idea who I am or dont care.

Hopefully Im moving somewhere with a bit of clubhouse atmosphere

Guys,
I wanted to post this here before it may come up anywhere else.
I am thinking of moving on. Basically nothing to do with anything that has happened at Green. I can honestly say I have no complaints about how anything has been run at Green.

Its just a matter of feeling that my career was going nowhere and I didnt see where my FC opportunities would come next season.

Weighing up my options I saw 3. Stay at Green and see what happened, retire, or move on and take my chances elsewhere.

I chose the 3rd option based on nothing more than being proactive. I have no idea whether I will get more opportunities at the next place but at least I gave it a go.

I saw it there and i was dissapointed, but if thats what you want to do good luck. Though with all the players moving across to Black competition for places is possibly going to be higher over there then here.

As i understood it, Goughy was next in line in the FC bowling attack and was a firm fixture in the OD side. Seems odd to give that up to me.

As he stated, he wanted to play FC cricket and with Nick Borcich out for half a season he will have half a season to prove himself in FC cricket with the new ball, as well as starting in the OD side. There's only 2 out and out pacemen in the Black squad (until the return of Borcich) plus 3 pace bowling all-rounders.

I would like to announce that CW Green have signed free agent Matt Pitt, who was released by the Colts the other day. Pitt struggled in the past year at the Colts scoring 215 runs @ 21.5 in OD games and 327 runs @ 14.86 in FC games. Pitt's u/19 form showed everyone what he can do though with 272 runs @ 54.4 in the longer version and 185 @ 37 in the shorter version. We are absolutely delighted to have Matt on board and look forward to seeing him work towards achieving his potential at Green.

Dunn had been starved of oppurtunities at CW Blue and was looking for a fresh start although not guarenteed that he will get loads and loads of game time it is possible that he could play a few games more than at CW Blue this is what enticed Dunn to the Club. Dunn will provide added depth with his Right Arm Mediums.
