Martin Lukeman beats Nitin Kumar, Watford>>>India (at darts as well as at cricket!)
Was meant to be a cracker this.Michael Smith out
Surely throwing the darts at your opponent is against the rules?A surprise for sure, but not a massive shock, Smith has not had a good two years (hence he is about to fall to number 15 in the world at the absolute best), and Kevin Doets, who almost beat him last year, was one spot away from qualifying for the World Matchplay. Cracking game, I must admit I thought he’d blown it when he missed that match dart, the bottle he showed to carry on when Smiffy was chucking everything at him was immense
Issuing a correction to my previous post, Smith threw everything but the kitchen sink and his own darts at Doets!Surely throwing the darts at your opponent is against the rules?
A world record set average that, meanwhile Perth's Damon Heta also missed d12 for a 9er in the last game of the eveningLuke Littler played pretty **** for 3 sets, just about getting into a 2-1 lead. Then went 11, 10 and 11 darts in the fourth, averaging 141 in the set.
13 out now, with one game to go before Christmas, been an absolute bloodbath for the seeds! Two absolute crackers going all the way to a sudden death leg, Jonny Clayton sneaked past Mickey Mansell this afternoon before Ricky Evans beat Dave Chisnall, the latter was particularly entertaining!Madness at the PDC Worlds TBH. Littler was insane in the 4th set
11 seeds are out already
After a very messy start to the next leg, Heta sees it out in 17 darts to win tbe set and level tbe matchAfter missing the double for a 9er in his second round game, Damon Heta does it in the third round!
His opponent was as buzzing as he was!Yes I just watched that live. Brilliant reactions all round
