Bunting has been good this year, will probably get a Premier League spot and won a TV event at the start of the year. Wright has been shocking bar beating Littler in a tour event final, but has a habit of being terrible and then pulling performances out from nowhere, Rydz has been poor as well but he’s been one of the players of the tournament, reminiscent of when he reached the quarters three years ago

That game was funny, Dobey was visibly shitting himself but he crawled over the line in the end!

Littler didn’t need to produce his A-game, but he was still very good as he comfortably beats Nathan Aspinall. Stephen Bunting in the semis tomorrow evening for him, he was steady if not spectacular against a Peter Wright who did revert to the sort of stuff he’s been chucking for the last couple of years

It took MvG to go 4-0 before he made a game of it, but it was too little too late, Luke Littler wins the first of many world titles no doubt!

Humphries going out ruined the tournament sadly. Two excellent day quarter finals and after that it was pretty dull stuff unfortunately.

A lot of surprises early on, which is entertaining in its own way, but perhaps it meant that the final 5 games of the tournament were always going to be a damp squib. Don’t think Humphries would have won the event, Littler was playing better than him anyway, but he almost certainly would have made for a much better quarter-final against Bunting and semi-final against Littler
