A surprise for sure, but not a massive shock, Smith has not had a good two years (hence he is about to fall to number 15 in the world at the absolute best), and Kevin Doets, who almost beat him last year, was one spot away from qualifying for the World Matchplay. Cracking game, I must admit I thought he’d blown it when he missed that match dart, the bottle he showed to carry on when Smiffy was chucking everything at him was immense

Surely throwing the darts at your opponent is against the rules?

Luke Littler played pretty **** for 3 sets, just about getting into a 2-1 lead. Then went 11, 10 and 11 darts in the fourth, averaging 141 in the set.

A world record set average that, meanwhile Perth's Damon Heta also missed d12 for a 9er in the last game of the evening

Gary Anderson, who had been rolling back tbe years and was fancied by many this year, was thrashed by Dutch-Swede Jeffrey de Graaf in a night of shocks!

Madness at the PDC Worlds TBH. Littler was insane in the 4th set

11 seeds are out already
13 out now, with one game to go before Christmas, been an absolute bloodbath for the seeds! Two absolute crackers going all the way to a sudden death leg, Jonny Clayton sneaked past Mickey Mansell this afternoon before Ricky Evans beat Dave Chisnall, the latter was particularly entertaining!

Imagine all the people in the toilets or it being your round and standing at the bar. Much worse than missing a goal at the football
