Absolutely. I also feel for you mate! So close to a century.

Code:
NL Patrick to AS Das: 1 run
NL Patrick to JB Brown: OUT!
-----------------------
JB Brown b NL Patrick 0
Balls 1 Fours 0 Sixes 0
-----------------------
NL Patrick to NR Hancock: 1 run
NL Patrick to AS Das: Appeal for LBW
NL Patrick to AS Das: 1 run
NL Patrick to NR Hancock: 1 run
-----------------------
End of Over No. 50 (4 Runs)
COL: 248/5 (BLU: 249/7)
It was you and I in at the end, but, sadly, we were unable to make it. In the end, I couldn't hit more than a single off the last ball.

Lol so did you, a extremely good performance!
But damn, another loss. We probably should have won this one, too. I'm glad I chipped in with the bat, but for once our problem wasn't runs, it was wickets...

The bowling peformances werent too bad in the first innings at least

Comley got 5 and i got 6, but all the bowlers suffered a bit in the 2nd

come on guys, im sure we can do better than this, btw well batted jaso. great century there. somones probably said this, but i think our problem is not talent, its consistency. If we can get more consistent, then im sure we;ll start winning many more of these. Like sometimes, someone really has to step up and hit the home run. You guys know what im saying?

I know mate, but you've got to look at the positives.
Malthus-Howell batted his **** off, and Brown and Comely bowled like demons, but in the end we were just too inconsistant... again.

tough loss guys, we really need to get back on the ball. it was nice to score some runs after some pretty disapointing form recently.

at the CWBCC Stadium

With 16 needed off the final two overs, McKern bowled his final over, and surrendered a crucial boundary to a totally unexpected reverse paddle from Rai.

we're very inconsint, losing them close ones, we crumble too easy
True...but we're an inexperienced lot. I think we've been going fairly well considering it's our first season (for most of us anyway).

Yeh as others have already said a few close losses in a row shouldn't bring despair always look at the positives, most of us are playing our first season against teams with players who have much more experience than ourselves (apart from a few), and its an achievement in itself that we are competitive just about every match and have a never say die attitude and while this lasts we can only continue to improve one would hope. Better luck for the next game.
