The OD game against Red today presents us with a few selection issues.

We're missing Cloete, Goff and Camps, which effectively means we need a new top 3 in our OD side, and we're going to be short on batsmen. This appears to be the only team we can put on the park, give or take Verghese. The batting is a bit weak, but hopefully the all-rounders in the middle order can stand up a bit.

Nah, go with the active people. If I was in Gooljar's position, and Verghese played rather than me when he was inactive just for "one game when the internationals are away" i'd ne ****ed.

Camps is actually a pretty decent allrounder It's not fair, can't sledge him on the matter.

I picked Gooljar over Verghese because I checked their List-A batting averages and Gooljar's was 30 to Verghese 26 or so, unless I made a mistake. Plus he's more active.
