For the majority of times Neil's picked a team, this season, I've been contributing ideas, and I'd be very interested in being on the panel.

I have no problem with you being on the panel, as you're obviously keen, and very active. But i'm sure there will be a lot of backlash if someone new decides who plays and who doesn't.

Gray and Borcich in the same boat, yes (along with Stedman, ... but no one cares about him;))?
Hoy and Fitzsimmons are in their second seasons? A lot of new 'popular' faces at black.

Too many transfers in the dev league, I reckon.

Most transfers have been to allow players to move to gain more playing time, you just have them stay in their team and miss out on first class cricket all together?

Big game tonight on two fronts fella's (and Jen), the chance to move closer to 2nd spot on the OD table and to put an end to Greens challange for the same spot. Make sure we all bring our A games ;)

Borcich would be a shocking choice for a leadership role if you ask me, ticks none of the above boxes and has a more checkered discplinary record than Buddhy Blackman. Still, he'd be better than Pickup.

Yep hopefully we can continue our late surge towards the final. Really need the batsmen to fire as the bowlers generally do there jobs.

huh? Thompson and i are much more active than you, we both post nearly every day when matches are posted. imho the captaincy should go to Hoy and VC should be fitzy and the othe other two selectors should be Thommo and maybe Chaulk.

I love the fact that you all just have shots at each other, funny team thread going around ATM. For those who say that Borcich would be a bad choice for a leadership role, he was on the management team for the Reds before he left. Foe what it matter Hoy has been VC of Green, Simon has been VC of Blue, Wilson has been VC of the Under 19s and Roberts is likely to be the future Under 19 Captain. So you got four guys there who have had captaincy experience, if it matters.

Dont think it really matters who has more posts in which thread its rather irrelevant. Would Neil still want to be in the leadership group after this season?

Usually it's irrelevant, but not in this argument. Who is actually going to decide all this? I say we leave it to Neil to decide who he wants to replace him, and who he wants to help his replacement.

I think it may be for the best if Neil chooses his successor and the new captain to choose who he wants assisting him.
