You're such a poor person. Wanting your team-mates, who are better than you, to be declared inactive so you can play OD games, when it's likely you'll just cost us games.

Neil youve had a great run but time to move on...
maybe not right now but at the end of the season i think you should resign and give someone else a go, someone that is more "active" can get the team involved, make the team have fun again.
I think we should have a team vote but with you having the final say.
No hard feelings but someone had to say it.

I tend to agree with Ash.
This isn't a personal shot at you as a person or your credentials, but to be honest, you'd hardly know Black is even in the Dev League the way it's been done this season. I don't know how many times you've actually named a team but I could probably count it on my fingers, which is a pretty poor effort in my opinion.
As well as that, as team captains go, players like Kyle set a good example for how I believe a Dev League side should be run. Always names a side, always comments on the games and is always giving the Colts side a good atmosphere.
I realise you probably have constraints on your time, and you've probably often worked on the premise that "we won last time, so there's no need to post a side because it'll be unchanged" because of that, but the fact that our team captain is never around, and unlike Red who has a similar situation, we don't have a senior members group who can name sides and help to create a team atmosphere.
I dunno, that's my two cents anyway. Would appreciate it if you could take it well.

To be fair though, Kyle has had periods in the past when he was a lot like Neil in terms of absence from the leadership role. He's admitted several times that it's only this season that he's really recommitted himself to the role. Daniel was practically running the Colts last season, and doing a fine job at it too.

I think Black at least needs to set up a leadership group like Red, Blue and the Colts (not sure about Green) who can take over when Neil isn't around. The thing that really stunned me was that your VC Richards doesn't even have the simming stats or anything. It basically makes it impossible for anyone else to run the team when Neil isn't there.

I think it's a fair call. I was very close to resigning in early September (as Hakon would confirm) but with the mess that was the bans etc, I decided on staying on for the time. Who's interested in taking over captaincy?

I'm gonna give Borcich a vote. He loves his dev league cricket, and follows it pretty closely. I dunno if Richards could be bothered, otherwise maybe i'd give him a vote. I also agree with what Fuller said. Earlier in the season I requested we form a leadership group but all that happened was Jamee becoming Pickup's sidekick.

hoy or richards would both make good captains the captain needs to be someone who will be in the team every game and can be arsed to do a decent job
