Geez, Watto.
Poor blokeGeez, Watto.
Well, good for you - how does it feel to be wrong all these years. As I have been saying for years now (and proven right by Mr. Tendulkar's dismal performance match after match especially under pressure):I don't generally reply to you, but Sanz is far from a "juvenile fan of Tendulkar". He's about as far as you can get from a juvenile, and a Tendulkar fan.
I'm confused JustTool. Are you saying that Tendulkar should be put back as captain, or what?Well, good for you - how does it feel to be wrong all these years. As I have been saying for years now (and proven right by Mr. Tendulkar's dismal performance match after match especially under pressure):
DROP TENDULKAR !
Ian Chappell is wrong - ZEROdulkar is not playing for statistics -- just for MONEY !!!
Get over it for crying out loud, either give some constructive criticism or just leave these frigging boards.Well, good for you - how does it feel to be wrong all these years. I read a few months ago something him saying he was really careful what he ate and he wasn't drinking alcohol at all... I can't find a link at the moment.I don't know why Shane Watson keeps breaking down, he looks pretty fit and has a fair amount of muscle on him so whether he's just not following a good nutritional programme or something like that, because he certainly doesnt look unfit.
I don't think so, overtraining as a youngster usually has a fairly minor effect. Sometimes it may last for a year or two but I doubt if Watson is still receiving these injuries due to pushing himself too hard as a youngster.I read a few months ago something him saying he was really careful what he ate and he wasn't drinking alcohol at all... Also, I doubt he would be given repeated goes in the team unless the management were happy he was doing everything he could about his fitness.
Is is possible that he vastly overtrained as a youngster, like 14-19 years old or something... could that have a lasting impact?
Maybe pushing himself too hard now.I don't think so, overtraining as a youngster usually has a fairly minor effect. Sometimes it may last for a year or two but I doubt if Watson is still receiving these injuries due to pushing himself too hard as a youngster.
Yeah, and after Watson re-did his hamstring on his return from injury they sent him to work with Allcott and then he got back okay. Can't help but notice that we've seemed to have more injuries since Errol Allcott finished as team physio.
It is rather erroneous to equate having a six pac and good muscle definition to being fit, Brad Hogg is supremely fit and a fantastic athlete but he hardly has a body to die for.I don't know why Shane Watson keeps breaking down, he looks pretty fit and has a fair amount of muscle on him so whether he's just not following a good nutritional programme or something like that, because he certainly doesnt look unfit.
No, but by looking at his muscle definition you can tell that he is fairly strong and has the upper body to handle the rigours of cricket. Of course, playing cricket and bowling at the top level would require a bowler to be fit, and don't bring up Dwayne Leverock as an example to the contrary. Watson has been playing for Queensland and Australia for a few years now, so you would have to assume he has a reasonable fitness level to be able to do what he does.It is rather erroneous to equate having a six pac and good muscle definition to being fit, Brad Hogg is supremely fit and a fantastic athlete but he hardly has a body to die for.
Hopefully Sri Lanka can win today and knock the West Indies out. I know people will say losing the host's is problem but when you consider that the crowds are appalling with the host's in the tournament, then it will not make much of a difference if they departed us. Could see it being a rather embarrassing exit if Sri Lanka bowl first, one suspects Vaas will fancy a concrete and out of form Chris Gayle.i really hope WI wins tommorow but i dont know....
