Have to wonder why Smith didn`t get a trundle.
Didn't bowl against Ireland either. I presumed then that it was because he wasn't needed, but it's truly bizarre that he didn't bowl today. He's been the pick of the bowlers, bar Powell, in the tournament so far.

Surely he doesn't have an injury that prevents him from bowling, because he doesn't deserve to be in the team ahead of Devon Smith if he can't bowl.

Marlon Samuels' quicker ball is absolutely horrible. Chucks it something fierce.
I was shocked when I saw it; they showed it in slow-motion with not a word from the comms. Nothing needed to be said. Horrible, horrible action.

Anyway, hats off to Hayden. Possibly the best timed ODI innings ever. He must be such a strong guy, that one handed six beggared belief. He was literally nowhere near it & just went through with the shot.

Oz by 100+ for mine, sad to say. D/L permitting, obv.

If the WI innings gets reduced to say 20 overs, wonder what target they would be looking at, surely up around 200...given they have all ten wickets and all that..then again, the Bermuda vs B'desh game proved I am crap at estimating that type of stuff

From my calculations the target would be 183 if WI's innings was reduced to 20 overs.

Cricinfo reckon 163 from 20. Which sounds a bit generous to WI, but they also reckon we won't get 20 overs so it's probably academic.

Cricinfo reckon that it's going to be called off actually.

15:53 local, 19:53 GMT Bad news, the drizzle is back and the covers are going back on. That should be that for the day. Just 32 minutes till the cut-off time.

Interesting to see from my quick research that WI have never chased nore than 300 to win a game in their 563 ODIs

For me, WI winning this game would be an upset equal to Ire-Pak

Sheesh Hayos, nice way to overcome a slow start. Hate to think what ponting would've scored considering he was gapping Hayden. Good to see Watto again score quickly @ 7, this time against a more significant opponent, and a decent amount of runs, he's adapted quite well this series.

With the reserve day play, will the WI innings take place in the morning (normal starting time) or afternoon? I assume morning but it can't hurt to double check.

Similarly, he doesn't deserve a place in the team ahead of Devon Smith is he isn't going to bowl...

Exaggerating much?

Especially considering that New Zealand have chased down similar totals of the Austalians and the fact that even England have beat them multiple times of late. Obviously Australia are the heavy favorites, but if Gayle and Chanderpaul can get them off to a good, quick start, I've got to think that the Australians will be feeling very nervous.

Gun :D, notice how all the Watto bashers have dissapeared when he does his job in the team, and does it well.

Come on, Gayle! A quick 140 from him and an 80 from Lara might just steal this match. Someone's gotta beat the Aussies! Come on!!
